This is one of my favorite songs of them. I like Kirstin‘s „sass“ in this one. If you want more of this kind of PTX, I recommend their version of „Shallow“!
A Livestream would be a wonderful idea. I actually sent this to Kirstie (rhymes with thirsty) because you all were so complimentary of her. Hopefully she will watch it. I just cannot get over how kind and respectful you are of each other. You are setting a good example for other couples. Thank you for that and for being you. You all are a joy to watch!!♥️
My wife and I discovered PTX at Christmas time 2020 - exploring their long list of songs has gotten us through the pandemic, a myriad of world events and some personal health disasters. Throughout it all, they’ve been a source of pure enjoyment and revisiting their work through the reactions of delightful people like the two of you has kept the experience exciting and fresh for us. Please keep PTX on your channel so we can continue dancing in our desk chairs at 3 a.m. as we tag along with you. You asked about vocal arrangements…Scott met a fellow student named Ben Bram while studying at USC and Ben is considered the “invisible” sixth group member, collaborating in vocal arrangements and video production. Others know far more than we do about the details, but I’ll just add that it’s uncanny that six phenomenally talented people even live on the same planet, much less gather in one room! Please consider Say Something, Shallow, or Over The River next, and greetings from Arkansas.
I don’t want to get churchy on anyone, but I truly and honestly believe that God knew what was going to happen with the pandemic and knew that the world was going to. Need someone to look up to, to enjoy and it would keep us as positive in this crazy world we live in now, so my belief is that God put each one of these kids in each other’s path of life to meet and become who they are. That’s just my opinion!
@@shaunagriffin1178 I 100% agree with you. Even going back to Ed Boyer (their sound mixer) who was working on the sing off and brought Ben Bram in to arrange the songs and then Ben told Scott the trio should try out for it but they would need a beatboxer and a bass. I think Ben knew Avi and they found Kevin on you tube bc his friend had convinced him to put a video of him beatboxing and playing the cello or celloboxing on you tube at exactly the right time for Scott to see it bc if was trending. I believe God had a hand in all of that. Also ptx came to Matt's school to perform and Mitch took his sunglasses and performed with them on and from that point on he dreamed of being in PTX.
They are always meticulous about every part of what they do and that I think is why they stand out so much. Talent of course plays a huge part in it but I think if you outwork everyone else and care about what you are making and love it, all of those together make them the top. They themselves come up with the concept for the video and you are right it is always perfect for the song!! They are perfectionists too. Their stylist also does the styling for Kelly Clarkson for her tv show and anything else she does.
This is one of my favorite covers by them. It really shows how well they harmonize with this having a faster rhythm. Love you both so much. Such a great job.
I so enjoy watching your appreciation for this wonderful group. You are so right....you know they are amazing but are still "surprised " everytime you hear them. Ty for your reaction!
So happy to see Pentatonix again!! I of course watch your other reactions too, but these are my favorite!! Your faces just glow when you are watching them (watch a few of your reaction post then throw PTX in...you will see!) and he always seems so disappointed when the song ends. My favorite reactors by far!!!!
Missed you. Glad to see you back. You two are one of my favorite reactors. Always looking for you on You Tube. Thank you, I love this song, too short though. Stay safe.
I wonder if the original artists of PTX covers are pleased to see that PTX is covering their song, or is it “oh, nooo….” LOL I always prefer their version and pretty much ignore the original thereafter!
They have heard from several that loved them and Beyonce posted a superfruit (Mitch and Scotts side project) Evolution of Beyonce video on her page and said "Mitch and Scott were #flawless." That is pretty good. Lol
If you want a longer experience try their Popspring performance. Its 3 original(amazing) songs and the Evolution of Michael jackson and its a live performance! Love yall reactions!
Have you guys reacted to We Are the World from the 80's? It shows so many legends of music. I think it was like 47 artists who came together for USA for Africa.
Love the vibe of this one. The instrumentals by Kevin and Matt are unbelievable. Is Andrei's T-shirt a nod to warmer climates? It can't mean a hotter lady, because Dominika is smoking. Lol. You two are perfect. Say hello to Arnie for me.
Another great reaction & what an incredible group is Pentonax. Please advise by way of a thumbs up or a heart if you are interested in reacting to my request to react to Amira Willighagen. Amira & Angelina are both modern day prodigies & deserve equal exposure, but Reactors, for some reason, tend to ignore the best Soprano singer of all time. I can guarantee that you will be absolutely blown away with Amira’s powerful, but Angelic voice. Cheers, Graeme
There is a a behind the scenes video of making their most most recent album Evergreen. It’s on you tube and shows their process. Be really fun to react to
O Okay young lady, you don’t have to say that PTX has made it better....but I will PENTATONIX makes EVERY song they do much better. I can’t take credit for this phrase, but another Pentaholic has said that Pentatonix does not make covers, they make Upgrades! And that is just the way it is with our favorite group. Love this song, really enjoyed your reaction. Thank you for sharing and have a great day.
Kirstie rhymes with thirsty. They performed a concert in the Bahamas over the weekend and one of their songs was "Havana". If you want to see the concert someone taped it. This is the first part of the concert. Here is the link: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-VdR2a5uR5Fo.html
You two are so genuine with your reactions... thank you... you are very addictive! Your choice of reactions is also refreshing. If you get a chance, please check out Brian Justin Crum doing Creep on Americas got talent. Also Brian Justin Crum and Matt Bloyd cover "Tell Him". Both are truly stunning and uplifting. Thanks again for your great reactions
I've heard Kevin's ending described as either a flugelhorn or a muted trumpet, but whatever, it's still pretty amazing! And the percussion goes on even when he's doing it - I think Matt is doing it, but I'm not certain. Another song with very similar styles for Kirstie and Mitch (who are the two who change their appearance the most often, LOL!) is Attention, another fun quick-tempo song where Kirstie again shows some "attitude".
PTX brought me here.Watched, Impressed, Subscribed. Now good people, you must react to a video of Kirstie with a singing group called Voctave. Disney love medley, I know you will be impressed by Voctave the best Accapella group bar none
