I've watched this music video probably one hundred times, for over 2 years and that moment at 6:31 where the choir turns and their voices swell takes my breath away Every. Single. Time. No matter how much I brace myself for it.
LOVE this rendition! Kevin told them that in the church where his parents worship they think they should be able to dance to holy music. He's right; Christmas songs are supposed to be a celebration; why shouldn't they make people want to dance?
This is why PTX owns Christmas songs. Christmas is religious and so are Christmas songs or carols. PTX always respects that while making music anyone can enjoy. This amazingly diverse group spreading joy for all is humanity at its best.
This version of the song fills my heart with pure, undiluted joy. I can't listen without the biggest smile spreading across my face, and by the time the choir joins in I'm on the verge of happy-tears. Whenever my Christmas spirit fades, I just give this a listen and all the good feelings of the season spring right back to life.

This is still my favorite ptx song. Imagine is up there as is silent night and prayers for this world, but this still my #1. I'm an athiest but ptx has me loving Christmas and religious music. Not as a believer, but just as someone who appreciates the music.

The choir is singing more of the song when Pentatonix is repeating, "Oh come all ye faithful!" I've listened to this song by Pentatonix a zillion times! I LOVE IT!! It's sung as a celebration song of Christ's birth, which is a celebration! Thank you!!❤
One of my favorite songs they do! This is definitely making me want to listen to their Christmas albums starting now! Our house usually waits until after Thanksgiving! My son LOVES their 12 Days of Christmas version. We listen to it on loop during the holiday season.
I love how people come on reaction channels and try to tell them to not pause so much or ask people to subscribe at the beginning of the video. It's a REACTION channel LOL! On a side note Avi is releasing a new song & video TOMORROW!!!!!! It's called Healing and it's absolutely amazing!

Even after all these years Avi's bass vocals just vibrates though my body. When he left PTX I left PTX. Loved his early stuff but I've not heard much of him lately.

I think people say not to say the marketing stuff in the beginning because if it's a new viewer, it's like "Why would I do all that when I haven't even seen the video yet?" lol Personally, I wait until the middle and end of my videos, but that's just me!
Absolutely love Avi in this and pretty much everything he does. When he left PTX, so did I. He added a strength, and a deep, dark chocolate no one else can match. Are there good basses out there? Yes, but no one can give what Avi can.
Did you know that Avi left on his own? He left the group on good terms due to fact he was getting burned out with all the traveling and his mother was diagnosis having cancer.
It's very sad that you are punishing PTX because Avi made a good decision about his life. That's kind of silly. Matt is outstanding and has added so much.
Before I make my comment, let me preface it by saying I am a huge Pentaholic. However, this version just isn't something I appreciate. It's way too "jazzed up". To me, this totally detracts from the song and its message. Sorry, Pentatonix, I love you, but this doesn't hold a candle to Voctave's version of "O Come All Ye Faithful" (which is "faithful" to the spirit of the original song).
You say it in the beginning because you feel entitled to all that. I find it disrespectful. I like your reactions. But I don’t subscribe because of your entitled behavior. I know that’s the world we live in. But doesn’t mean it’s right. Why are you telling me to like something I haven’t experienced yet?
