I would LOVE to hear your reaction to their "Daft Punk" medley and the original songs "Love Again" and "Sing". Gotta love the combination of bass and beats in all of them... 🤩🤩🙈
Scott learned, then sang in French on another collaboration with Lindsey Sterling on the cover of Stromae's PAPAOUTAI.. (They do a lot of their own originals as well.. but then you've got 10+ years of incredible songs to choose from! )
Pentatonix is not 100% a cappella. Kevin's cello and Scott's piano make occasional appearances, and Matt plays drums on some live performances (and when Avi was in the group, he would sometimes play guitar in live performances). Kevin is a concert cellist who had played Carnegie Hall by the time he was a teenager. He invented "cello-boxing", the art of beatboxing and playing the cello at the same time...and this was the skill that actually got him the gig with Pentatonix in the first place. Whenever Pentatonix uses an instrument in one of their songs, you will actually see it in the video. They never "sneak" one in.
Papaoutai. Is a wonderfully brilliant video by Lindsey Sterling and PTX. It’s in French. PTX took French lessons to get it just right I speak French and they are dead on. The video is very artistic as they are toys ala toy story. Thank you for your excellent reactions
I don't know that there is a PTX cover that I don't prefer to the original! This is a prime example. They just have a knack for taking it up a notch or putting an unexpected spin on it that keeps me coming back for more. Thanks for the reaction. Keep them coming.
Hey Lee, they have a new video out today...BTS mashup of Dynamite and Butter. Please react to it, even though it isn't your favorite genre!!! I would be so grateful!!! And I am still waiting for a Dirty Loops reaction LOL!! Try Rock Me, Hit Me, Next to You!!! Hope to see you again soon!!!
Right now, everyone trying to react to the new video is either getting it blocked or having to chop it down to almost nothing to get it uploaded. I'd wait a few days before trying to react to it now.
