The last live performance of Pentatonix in Singapore at the Mastercard Theatre, 14th August 2014. NOTE: Please credit if this video is used for creative purposes :)
This is an extremely exceptional performance in so many ways!! >as others noted, the tempo is slightly slower- the reason being is that their separation and depth of harmony is so incredibly precise in this particular performance. They are focusing so intensely on the harmonic separation and it really shows! The 5 part chord harmonics/dynamics are stunning. > the acoustics of the venue are so good- it must be an orchestral hall, auditorium, or opera house of some sort in SG? >the recording device- no tinny cell phone audio lah..(lol...Singlish) I've heard/watched almost all the performances of this piece...and this rendition *still* brought tears to my eyes. Dammit.
Their raw talent is unbelievable. Their sound people have mastered equalizing and balancing all their voices perfectly. No one sands out over anyone else and yet you can still enjoy their voices individually. I could watch this over and over.
Wow. This is my favorite rendition of Run to You ever. The slower tempo, everyone's eyes being closed, the genuine emotion (I think I saw Scott's hand tremble a bit at 3:33.) Again, just wow.
aripockily I know! When I posted this, I wasn't too familiar with them yet. They are close enough in height to cause confusion, that's for sure. lol But you know, I don't think it's that they're short for men, but I think it's just that Kevin and Scott are tall for men. lol
This one is true up live, if you notice they took their ear monitors out, they they can't get any feedback except listening to themselves in the venue (this place decent acoustics though)
