"Spoiler alert" Heh, sorry Roddy. =) Mitch is awesome. That look at 5:00, I think that's the first hint of Queen Mitch we ever see; that instant where he knows he's got this and he's loving it.
Amazing, right? :p There's definitely a huge difference between Mitch then and Mitch now. He's always been amazing but he was very shy and suffered from anxiety back then and you can really see how he's grown since TSO. Now you definitely have to check out Superfruit Reacts to The Sing Off, it's very funny lol. Glad you got through all of these and really enjoyed them!
Traveling Reactor True, there's no spoilers in the Superfruit ep for any of the performances past the forget you/since you been gone medley though so you can watch that one whenever if you don't want to wait until you do all the sort of bonus performances.
Enjoyed your reaction! It was so great to see Mitch finally show the world how amazing he is. By the way, on these competition shows, each week the contestants are given a list of well known songs to choose from. For this week, the judges asked each group to perform a specific song that they thought would challenge them.
Binge-watched all of your Sing Off reaction... I really enjoyed seeing your Sing-Off orgasms... :) Your appreciation of their performances was wonderful to watch!
I know this is an older reaction but mitch said that he was very insecure about his voice and his singing because he didn't really have a style but now he knows exactly what his style is. It's nice to see the change in his confidence
I'm with you on this recommendation. It is one of Mitch's most epic live performances! Anybody that respects what Pentatonix and the individuals in the group can do needs to watch "Aha! Live, Singapore, Star Vista". It's that good.
They went into this one expecting to blow it. They'd had a tough schedule and all their voices were tired. Scott had a bad cold and his voice was almost entirely gone. Then at their dress rehearsal they were out of tune and going downhill fast. The producers had done everything they could think of to keep Mitch from revealing his true range because they thought it was effeminate and might lead to the revelation that Mitch is gay, but one of the biggest reasons Pentatonix was there was to introduce the world to the wonder that is Mitch Grassi's voice, so they were *not* happy with the producers. Okay, so they were going to lose in this performance anyway; they figured they might as well get what they could out of it; at least they could finally give Mitch his solo - let the producers think whatever they wanted, it would be too late for them to do anything about it. (Look at the way the rest of the band turned their backs on the audience at the beginning of Mitch's solo. To most of the audience that was just a way to put the focus entirely on Mitch. To those who knew what the producers had been doing, however, it was a powerful statement of what Pentatonix thought of the way Mitch had been treated.) So they went on stage and they gave it their all (literally, in Scott's case, since that vocal fry on his last note was his voice giving out entirely), for Mitch. And "their all" was spectacular. After this performance there was no chance that they'd end up in second place. They'd won _The Sing-Off._
