I was thrilled to finally be able to hear Matt's voice stand alone. He has a nice strong voice that cuts right through you. I can't wait to hear more of his voice.

Yo i haven’t listened to Pentatonix for like 3 years and then I decided to search them up in spotify. I obviously chose this song and Scott’s entrance blew me away and Matt’s one octave drop. I just can’t. I’m obsessed again

I came for the Pentatonix! Love your reactions! Did you notice that when Matt was singing his verse that Scott covered the bass part for him? Every member of the trio( Scott, Mitch and Kirstie) has a very big range.

I will tell you something about Superfruit: Mitch and Scott have been best friends since they were 10 years old, and the trio (the two including Kirstin) have known each other since they were 8 years old. Mitch and Scott were dating at 17, but sadly they ended up on bad terms and that led to their estrangement. Months later they participated in the program "The sing off" and there they reconciled. They promised not to separate again and that is why they lived together since 2013 as best friends and thus created Superfruit. They not only upload covers, they also ask "questions and answers", games and in 2017 they released an original album called "Future Friends" that tells their whole story: from when they were dating, until now. Unfortunately, the channel is no longer active since 2017, since then they no longer live together, they both have a boyfriend, but that does not mean that they have stopped having that special connection. I recommend that you react to "Guy exe" or "Future friends" and, if you wish, you can see some of their videos where they do not sing, to know more "read my lips" or "More likely to".

This was my first song where I properly paid attention to them and I'm telling you, Scott gave me no chance. He did not take prisoners in this one :D. Matt's vibrato is georgeous and Kevin just elevated it to the next level. Kirstie and Mitch both sounded incredible too. This is one of my favourites when it comes to their covers. But since you did mention The Lion King, they have a beautiful cover of Can You Feel The Love Tonight. Highly recommend. But like anything you'll choose to react to would be amazing. I almost fell out of my chair to click as quickly as I could when I found out you have a new video :D.

I'll chuck in a few recommendations too: 'Starships' (doesn't get mentioned often, and I don't know why, because it's great and the video is fun,) 'Can You Feel The Love Tonight,' 'Love Again,' (similar vibe to their Daft Punk medley, with some insane high vocals from Mitch,) 'On My Way Home' (where Mitch shows he's got a powerful low tenor voice too, and Avi kills on bass,) and 'Natural Disaster.' The last three are Pentatonix originals - yep, they're also talented songwriters!

New sub, Kevin's "celloboxing" while impressive as hell, only scratches the surface of his ability. The man is a musical savant. Learning piano at 4, cello at 6 and saxophone at 10. He soloed on cello and performed in a piano trio at Carnegie Hall as the winner of the American Fine Arts Festival, and soloed a second time on alto saxophone for PBS’s special "From the Top at Carnegie Hall". For a more complete appreciation, I would highly recommend his solo looping KOver of 'Down' by Marion Hill on his personal page "Kevin Olusola". Where you will also find other great cello covers, collabs, and originals. If all that wasn't enough, he has perfect pitch and speaks fluent Mandarin.

BTW check out "Can You Feel the Love Tonight?" from the Lion King. It's absolutely stunning and will give you new definition to the term "tribal". See you!

This song is notable in that Scott and Matt kind of switch their typical roles, Matt taking a baritone melody solo and Scott working his low register in the bass line. Until Scott burst out with _his_ turn on the melody ;)

Ok I love you. I am also a huge Ptx fan. You should go watch rise on Superfruit. Also you should watch on Pentatonix official channel the Ptx experience while they were on tour. I found getting to see their personality fun. They are very fun.

When you have another listen to this, there are a couple of things to notice. First, when Matt’s singing lead, it’s *Scott* who’s carrying the bass line and killing it. Second, when Kirstie’s singing lead, listen for Mitch belting out those pure, high harmonies.

I love how you are always so impressed by Matt (and rightfully so!), but, as I've said before, if you really want to hear bass, you have to check out the older videos with my secret boyfriend Avi (so secret that even he doesn't know about it).

I loved watching you react to them. It was so genuine.The factored shoe did not stop the video I really like. Plus your reaction was mainly in your body language and it seems that you just really didn't have the words for what you were saying which is Just fine.What I like most about this video is in those very 1st opening notes Scott with his deep voice just reaches out and grabbed you and pulls you in.

Some suggestions: Bohemian Rhapsody; Imagine; Hallelujah (all with the original bass, Avi Kaplan). Newer: Attention; Can You Feel the Love Tonight (from the Lion King). Mitch's high notes will knock your socks off. Then, if you'd like to try out some originals: Love Again; Misbehavin; Run to You (very spiritual). And, despite all these recommendations, my favorite cover is still their arrangement of Kiarra's hit, "Gold". And for Superfruit, their original and hillarious GUY.EXE.

As someone who found Pentatonix though their very first performances watching the Sing-Off live, there is something so extra special about the OG line up. Avi’s bass is otherworldly.

Yes, yes!...you would appreciate watching the beginning of their journey in the Sing Off performances....they started out great , but the way Mitch and Kirsten have gained in confidence and taken on more prominent roles has been so satisfying to watch.
