I started yelling "WOO PTX!" when I saw them. Luckily the theatre was only full of people I knew or knew by association. One of my friends was sitting right at the back and, knowing that I LOVE these guys, she yelled out "WOO PENTATONIX!" I was sooo happy, they were on for a lot longer than I was expecting.
Don't get me wrong, love Scott and Mitch but they've got to let Kevin & Avi speak as well. This is a Pentatonix interview, not Superfruit. Without the bass & percussion, Pentatonix is nothing.
I know I feel they are so unappreciated! Also, Kevin's like "I have a good one" ( for the favorite memory ) But Scott took the opportunity first... Not very fair...
Luvsummer2013 Actually Kevin said 'oh *you* have a good one!' talking toward Scott. But I do get where you are coming from, wish they would talk more, especially Avi because Kevin did actually talk for a little bit
1j2s3a Please don't try to compare. They 100% value Avi and Kevin! If you watch all of their interviews you will notice that Avi never ever really speaks unless he is asked a direct question. He is uncomfortable with the press and if you watch you can tell.
1j2s3a I don't think it was spotlight hogging so much as Mitch and Scott are naturally more extroverted than Kevin and Avi. And Avi is NOT underappreciated. He is one of the, if not THE, most popular member of the group from the feedback I see.
I just saw pitch perfect two the other day, and when I saw him in there, I just looked around the theater to see if anybody noticed. Nobody's face was as shocked as mime xD
I know right?! If I had the chance to speak to Pentatonix, I guess I would be a pretty lousy interviewer, because I would have directed all my questions to him.
Same. But I don't think he has the personality to jump onto a question directed to the group in general and I get the feeling the interviewer focused on Scott and Mitch. Would have been nice if she asked him a question too. I would not have missed the chance.
