Grammy, shmammy. Recognition by the Recording Academy is nice but relatively trivial in the greater scheme of things. Creating art, being heard and embraced by the people is where it's at. And they're there.

@@retread1083 it’s relevant when it comes to being taken seriously in the industry. If they actually got the recognition they deserved they’d have even more awards. Of course the love of music and their crazy amounts of talent, and creativity are more important than 3 Grammys, but the Grammys are way cool and well deserved.

@@melissacoviello2886 Jimi Hendrix never received even ONE Grammy yet he changed the course of rock music and is far more "recognized" by the public than hundreds of Grammy recipients. Diana Ross -- no Grammy wins. Queen - no Grammy wins. ABBA - no Grammy wins. Anyone who uses the number of Grammys as a metric needs to find a better yardstick.

I love watching other creative artists work. Especially the ground breaking ones. These guys and gal are just so good it belies description. I often wonder what planet they are from. Interesting to see them work in the studio and observe their dynamic with each other. They get it done in a fun way.

I love seeing how the creative process works. Anyone who doubts that all five (plus Ben) actually do the arranging should watch this video. I also enjoyed their calm dynamic and how they don't take offense to ideas to make it better, and also how they praise each other when they do things well. I also like how they keep a sense of humor about it and seem to truly enjoy working together. Yes, the camera is on them and they know it, but I don't think they are THAT talented as actors.

9:50 I love this part! Mitch is so technically inclined! He really analyses each vocal technique of everyone and the little pointers and flares Kevin adds changes the whole song’s dynamic and character !! Kevin just oozes talent and musicality! Considering what videos they are targeting, how much they spend time to spam ( like some have been spaming for days on different videos, though "they are never listening to them again") and that PTX subscribers count has actually risen, it seems like a coordinated attack from bots who are not famluar with the at all. ( and sorry for sounding crazy an angry talking with them- years of experience have shown that it is the only way to talk with crazy angry people using 5 click words they have been trained to like dogs. )

This was so interesting. It's made me want to go back to the CD and listen closer for more of the background vocals & sounds. This CD & the concert made me more aware of the different parts each band member plays while singing and I've found it so interesting. The Tik Toks duets are what triggered that. Kirsties response to The Prayer was really neat to watch too.

The whole process or the glimpses we are privileged to see here are fascinating and beautiful to watch. Wow! I've always wanted to see their creative process, how they develop and arrange their songs! This was so cool! Getting to see the progress of ideas between the members and the end product! I just loved seeing this! Every year they get better and better! And in the time of Covid, it's a true gift to see that they continue to create and put their songs out there for everyone to enjoy. I hope that Covid can be defeated so that the group can continue to tour like they (and we) want them to. Merry Christmas to Pentatonix and everyone else out there. Yes! I don’t usually watch competition shows, but my dad fell in love with them and told me about it. It was something we watched together. And I always loved that he led me to my favorite group. He passed away in June, and I think of him often when I listen to their music.

It’s amazing to see how well they work together, taking feedbacks graciously with not an ounce of ego in any of them. They know one another so well that they can just pick up at any point and start to sing harmoniously, that’s so tight.

I JUST TRAVELED ABOUT 17 HOURS TO SEE PTX IN TX AND IT WAS THE BEST THING THAT EVER HAPPENED TO ME!!! THE SECOND THE CURTAINS WENT UP I STARED BALLING HAPPY TEARS!!!! PTX HAS ALWAYS BEEN MY DREAM!! KEEP IT UP🥰😘

I love this. Sometimes I feel like I forget they're a capella because their songs are just so full and rich, I tend to forget they're not using any instruments. Videos like this remind me of how much work they put into their music. Like that short part in Over the River - such a short part of the song, just a few words, and they sing that over and over again until it's perfect. I can't express how much I love and respect Pentatonix.

First excuse my English. I live in a town in South Germany, and every year we have on concert in front of the highest church in the world. A lot of stars was singing there : pink, elton john, scorpions, Joe crocker, Liza minelli, simply red and and and. It would be the greatest for me to hear pentatonix sing there.
