I have to agree...My 6x7 I need to plan my shooting. Anywhere where I can use a tripod if possible. The 645 does far better for travel, casual and ease of use for more at the moment photos. The 645 has the advantages of the 35mm but with medium format results. I see you are sporting a 75mm FA lens on a 645n :). Very nice work as always!
I agree with your statements and point of view. I recently did a 5 mile hike where the asecent up a 1200 foot mountain was straight UP VERTICAL. I regretted even bringing my well built Contax SLR with heavy Zeiss glass. No way I could have handled either of these. A reminder that each camera type are tools built to solve a certain group of problems.
I appreciate your sincerity, good voice, and the quality of your photos. But as you said also in your other video about 645, it’s long. Not because of the actual time, but as you said in the video, you’re ‘going in circles,’ repeating the same messages you already conveyed. I suggest you script it (I imagine you did as you glances at your prompt sheet), but more importantly, practice it once or twice, and listen to your own recording. In short, yours are quality videos with much going for it, just a little tweak to make it even better. I enjoyed and looking forward to more videos.
I got a mamiya 645 for similar reasons. It's a "cheaper" system, 15 frames, "lighter" (still pretty heavy lol), and parts are plentiful to find if there is ever any kind of mechanical issue. I tried to find a Pentax 645 but they were more expensive and hard to find for me in my area sadly :/
