I take a look at the Pentax K-1, Pentax's first full frame digital camera, using a great portrait lens, the Pentax 77mm 1.8 Limited, for real world use for portraits.

Dear Guam team, thank you so much for working with Pentax equipment! Wouldn't it be exiting to try the K-1 now with the quite new HD Pentax-D FA* 50 mm f/1.4 for portrait, fashion etc.? I would appreciate that a lot!

Pentax K-1. When you look through the viewfinder directly at a powerful light source (mainly the Sun), you can see that are difficult to see, and even disappear (due to the internal reflections of light in the pentaprism I imagine), the green light diodes of exposure information (speed, aperture, EV, ISO, etc.) Does anyone know how to solve this problem? Is it possible to adjust the power of the viewfinder's light diodes? Or how?

No, currently my personal cameras are the Leica M-E, and the Lumix GX8, I wanted full frame for the more shallower DOF, so went back to Leica :)

ah, I have been wanting to go with mirrorless, I shoot Pentax k3, and was looking at Lumix gx8 and has my heart set on it but read review on low quality image,..but then thought set my sights back to k 1 by Pentax...i really like imagestablization on gx 8...as I have Parkinson's and hand tremors...

Yes the GX8 isn't great in image quality, I use it mainly for school events (since I am a teacher), and for snap shots, nothing too serious. I think both the K-1 and the GX8 have great stabilization. SO it comes down to image quality, K-1 is a great camera overall, for portraits to landscapes :)
