Former atheist and occultist, now an Orthodox Christian. I'd love to visit this monastery, and so many others around the world: St. Catherine's on Sinai, Optima, Valaam, Mt. Athos, Mar Saba, and others.
Have you seen the documentary about an atheist who found Saint Anthony's Monastery and became a monk there? ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Y3J1xOR3Ves.htmlfeature=shared
A big thank you for sharing this wonderful and amazing experience. I really loved the way Fr. Agathon showed and explained everything. I hope to visit this place soon. Love from India
I used to like going to pentecostal churches a lot but recently my husband and i have been on our journey to oriental orthodoxy. Thank you so much for this very interesting video! God bless 🙌
As a coptic orthodox who lives abroad this is very nostalgic for me. We used to visit the desert monasteries as youths to spend some spiritual time away from the chaos of the city.
Wow How the Holy Spirit is working in each one of us that hAshem drove you all that distance to bring us to this blessed experience. Might your visit is blessed with joy blesses brother
I was raised as a Pentecostal from childhood in the Assemblies of God denomination. God brought me through hell in order to find His Holy Orthodox church. Converting to Greek Orthodoxy was the best decision I ever made. God bless
What? That's so cool and for us Christians, I have no words. St Anthony's monastery, *in* Mount Sinai, like, Mount Sinai from the Bible :o Good for you👏:o 8:00 Something I've heard, but never that she was Moses' daughter, so I don't know if it's who I think
Sorry but it is not in sinai desert it resident in the eastern desert of Egypt to so close to Hurghada City so that tourists can visit it , and it not dangerous to visit it it's very far of conflicts between Israel and Hamas , but you have to visit it in the morning early as you can, because you will find different spirit
Look for Serpent's trail. The lost tribe of Dan that became the Dacians, Scandinavians and Anglo-Saxons. The Dacians had the cult of Zalmoxis, Holy Moses. Moesia is the country of Moeses followers. Almost all big rivers in Europe are named after Dan and Moses The Phoenicians/cananites were blond
I loved to see the interaction between different Christian traditions. Thank you for making this. I have a theological question about something you said at 16:18 Do you believe these verses are inspired scripture since they are not found in the earliest Biblical manuscripts?
I am an ex Orthodox man just because I was born in an Orthodox country. I went for 25 years searching for the plain truth and I discovered it when I started reading the Bible. I'm gonna tell you people this: Jesus never approved monasteries (like in buddism) and that whole scheme of the self -deprecate ασ Orthodox Church, which is only monks traditions, festivities and full of paganism. Can't you see this? This is not Christianity. Not a spiritual life with Christ. No Holy Spirit inside their churches. Priests doesn't exist in New testament (Hebrew's Epistle and much more) and you can count them as wolves among sheeps having a so bad doctrine that covers His glory and sacrifice and worshiping His mother Virgin Mary. This is another religion called Mariolatry. They are far away from Jesus Gospel and they are living well like kings, because of the ignorant people who don't know what the Gospels are telling them and the New Testament is against them. Get out from there to save yourself. Go to a Church that preaches only Jesus. Nothing else, nothing more than Jesus. Our Savior, the Son of God, Jesus Christ the Lord. He is coming soon! Hallelujah, Amen.
You’re just saying that because you’re in the black Hebrew Israelite cult, everyone whose actually been to Egypt as I have multiple times know the difference between historic Egyptians and Nubians and Sudanese, which are neighbors and even live in Egypt but are not Egyptian lol 😂
Ok race wars on a Christian video seriously? Who cares what color skin just move on we are one in Christ. If you want to get Biblical Egypt is part of the tribe of Ham which includes Africans. Geographically, Egypt is in Africa. Historically, Egyptians mixed with many other people since the beginning of time. We can read the Bible to know it and history books to know more. Today Egyptians look more like mixed race people than anything else but it doesn't change the geography. Egyptians are light skinned Africans or as some people call it white Africans. It doesn't matter. If we want to look at history, ancient Egyptians were against the Jews. It isn't anything to be proud of to be against God. Things changed and 99% became Christian but Islamic invasions made it very difficult to live as a Christian. The Coptic church is said to have suffered the most martyrdom in all of Christendom till today. Let's focus on that instead of worshipping our favorite bloodlines please 🙏 ❤
