The Crib Parade and the Men and Maids at Penzance Mazey Day, part of the Golowan Festival, on Saturday 24th June 2023.
The video's a bit cut and edited because most of the time it looked better that way but also unfortunately I had to edit out a fair part of the Men and Maids as twice within about five minutes of each other I caught on film two separate completely unprovoked verbal abuse, unfortunately something I find that isn't rare at these kind of events. I've been thinking for the past few hours whether or not I should include it in the video, but decided in the end not to as firstly I want to try to keep it positive and secondly I don't want any embarrassment for the people who were on the receiving end of the disgusting abuse. However in the small chance that one of the people on the receiving end is watching this video please feel free to get in contact and I'll be more than happy to share with you the footage, both of which show their faces and what they said extremely clearly.
