Regarding Toga, she didn’t kill the bird or bite her friend. It was written like that to show how her parents & people always assumed she was inherently violent because of how she looks (calling her smile deviant) No one ever believed her. She was trying to hide her urge to drink blood but those were instances where it was presented in front of her and she couldn’t help but drink it. Imo it’s not crazy to have a child who drinks blood for their quirk when there are people with bird heads in mha, but instead of taking her to a regular doctor or sitting down to talk with her, her parents shamed her and were abusive. I also agreed with Lee when he mentioned it reminded him of a certain type of correction therapy, since toga canonically loves both boys and girls, many have thought for her story to be an allegory for queer people living in a world where their love is not accepted. Then when she confessed to deku, he rejected her. Her way of loving is weird to him and he couldn’t understand her. But Ochako accepted her. Toga mentioned that for her drinking blood is like how couples kiss, its her way of showing love. So when Ochako offered Toga her blood for life and called her cute it made Toga inexplicably happy. The girl she loved actually accepted her
@@DirectorNasty I think its clearer when reading that she was telling the truth. She thought it was cute because it was already bleeding and her quirk makes her love blood, the scene was a bit ominous tho. Even if she did kill the bird, her character sheet in the manga explains that she does not care for the gender, but wants to drink their blood to become them as a form of love. In the manga she sometimes refers to sucking blood as giving a kiss, so she truly thought when her friend was bleeding that she was making them feel better by giving them a “kiss” where it hurt, similarly with the bird, she showed the dead bird to her parents thinking it was cute bc of the blood and then her father hit her. I can understand anyone misinterpreting her actions though, to anyone it would look creepy, but to her it is affection. Quirks also affect someones nature, take Jirou with an ear/sound quirk who loves music, bakugo with an explosive quirk who is short tempered, and ochako with a float quirk who is described to have a bubbly personality. Toga loving blood was honestly uncontrollable. Anyways sorry for the long response lol, but I wanted to explain it the best way I could 🙏🏽
