I love this idea. I usually use the clear bulbs for mocktails. I told myself I was finished decorating but I had to checkout your latest video. This was such a pleasant surprise 😊
That was a fun watch to see the huge variety of different ways to decorate 1 item. The only thing I was disappointed in was the shots to see the completed projects on the tree and how you used them. They were a millisecond long. Would have loved a longer looksee and closeups of your art. I know I can pause my video, but kinda not the same. Thanks for sharing your ideas.
Let's all get along it's okay for everyone to have their own opinion with respect this movies you might not like and you might give it a thumbs down and I might like it and give it a thumbs up
Hi I am following you from California every so often I go and check your page very interesting little things you can enjoy the day create from inexpensive to value, I'm going to use my nail polish that I do not use and change my ornaments we'll have ideas but sometimes not everybody do the same but thank you and keep doing what you like happy holidays
If adding paint to the inside of ornaments, try adding mod podge or watered-down white glue to the paint. A couple of years ago, I squirted paint on the inside of ornaments and allowed them to dry. Imagine my surprise when after a week and then 2 weeks, the paint on the inside started falling to the bottom of the ornaments. Left them up for the duration of that holiday and then threw them in the garbage can.
Just wondering if you can make these without having to bake them. I'm kinda Leary about putting things glass like these bulbs in the oven at whatever temperature. 🤔
Love all these, but it seems to get so hot here the glue would melt leaving a trailing of unwanted glitter. Even our candy canes end up melting into the shape of the letter 'I'
I've been doing crafts/art for decades, but cannot figure out the technique of the wood/paper prints at 4:07...paint, saran wrap, print, brown paper, rubbing?, then sanding? Can anyone please explain? Was it ironed on? I would just mod podge the print on....
Mixed media junk journalers sometimes use plastic wrap to 'decoupage' napkins. If you search napkins and plastic wrap decoupage on RU-vid, you can probably find some videos that go slowly and explain the technique. Good luck.🦋
Was it just me or did the second blue one look pearlescent with purples swirled through or was it just the way the camera picked it up? It looked way better without the silver leaf.
I heard that if you use any kind of paint and you put it in the oven, you're gonna get those fumes and you should not cook if you've used that paint.Basically you can ruin your oven
I really love most of the ideas shown in this video, but I really dislike seeing black ornaments of any kind. Christmas isn't about a dramatic color...it's about happiness and joy. Just my opinion!
I don't get why you used rit for this? I did this wth paints...cheap 50 cent acrylic paints. And I didn't bake them although they do dry faster in an oven. I dont see the need for use of mod podge which is expensive and so is rit dye. Way too wasteful for me. I like the ones that got dipped into paint swirls on top,of the water. The others were just BORING.
It’s called “V-A-R-I-E-T-Y”. These ornaments are in the general same class, but each different. Since people like different things, maybe at least one will be pleasing to someone. She didn’t expect they all would be liked.
Then start your own channel and make a video about it. I’m sure a lot of people would love to sit through a 10 minute long video of you being as intolerable as your comment is!
The first person in the video… please don’t use, “I’m going to.. over and over. That is one thing my mentor said I did to much of while in a trainer program for the corporation I worked for.
I am inordinately bone tired of seeing gnomes and modge podge. Many of these DIY content creators “create” for the purpose of using a sponsored product. Please. Stop insulting true craftsmen/craftswomen.
Why do you book through those so darn fast? My favorite one was literally 6 seconds and i had to keep backing up the video to try to figure out what you did there. Very annoying. I hate speed watching.
Huh! Guess some people have way too much time on their hands! Spending that kind of time on something as superficial & insignificant as a seasonal tree ornament seems a little odd to me. Maybe I'm not into the "Christmas spirit" as much as some people?
Wow! I’m sure there are things you do that other people would find rediculous as well. Don’t click on the video and watch it if it ain’t your thing. That simple!!
@@christiespell9061 unfortunately, I have to watch until it ends to know I've wasted my time. But you're right. I think I need to unsubscribe. Thank you for pointing it out.
I happened to find it quite inspiring.. since I have a box of plain glass ornaments I've been wanting to do something with, &have been searching for a video thats not 2hrs long but has many ideas in it - this one was perfect ..for me. It's true - one man's trash, is another man's treasure- That's the beauty of RU-vid.. many many CHOICES for EVERY1,, obviously this was not the case for U.. But thankfully it's actually pretty simple- if u dont like it = u don't have to watch it 😉
@@l.medina6251 you would be doing all of us a favor. I'm sorry that something has made you so negative that you find a need to be such a grinch to others.
I might have enjoyed this video if you slowed down so I could follow all of the instructions for all of the ornaments. I would rather fewer with better, easier to follow instructions than a bunch that go so fast that my mind can't register what is going on...
