In this video, I tried to explain the challenges faced by new immigrants & why they should think again before coming to Canada. Subscribe for more down-to-earth, genuine videos.
High taxes, useless healthcare, lack of doctors, runaway nurses, skilled engineers and doctors driving taxis or working as general labourers. Unaffordable housing, mediocre school system. Thats Canada in a nutshell.
@@cyberman1 if thats not your situation then why are you spreading demotivation of all students who want to go abroad to uplift their family? You save 1000 dollars/month in Canada then its great!
@@stanpoatan I’m not demotivating any students who are going abroad, I’m just echoing the current state of affairs in Canada and not any other country.
Very well said, I have been in the US for 8 years and worked a corporate job in India. Had to start working at gas stations and started from zero. People feel life is so good outside India and social media is the biggest culprit. A lot of people just come because of peer pressure and then regret it later. Unless you are not ready to start from scratch or have a job offer in hand then dont move to any county. Life is very tough the moment you leave India.
People should understand this & keep that in their mind that a person who has good communication skills , confidence , honesty & good enough education will surely do wonders not in Canada but in every country. So , be fearless & move ahead . ✨
True! If you don’t wanna speak the same language, merge in the local culture, hustle and hunt a convenient job, not wanna respect each other privacy and ethics, be the same you’ve been as where you came from of-course you’re always gonna find everything difficult. As my mom has always taught me “find good even in bad”
F_uck honesty…even with $1million you can not buy a respectable place for your family in GTA…car insurance is high, taxes are higher, cost of living is higher… more you earn … government will loot your money… pls move to US or Australia…. Canada is a scam
I have lived abroad, in USA and Germany. Other than money, intellectual growth, clean environment and state infrastructure nothing else could lure me to stay for long. There is no social support, healthcare is expensive, you’re always cautious about flouting rules as it’s not your country, no house help or in general expensive labor, too many unknown rules, little savings and harsh weather …. I feel happier and more at peace in India. To each their own
This is what many, if not most, Indians want. All freebies, cheap labour, free electricity & water, free health care & education... & most important low or no taxes also high salary + graft money.... Amen
@@csuryavanshi5976 well, not just freebies. And the expectation stems from our upbringing in India where a different, more social and community oriented living still exists. Public sector subsidy is a right demand from a state in lieu of high taxation rates. Anyway, it’s an endless debate.
Why would you want to flout rules? Why do we Indians shift to a other country a different culture all together and expect it to be like India? What's the point then?
@@manifest_dreams I meant there’s little scope for inadvertently making mistakes. Well, a comparison essentially is not based on apple to orange difference and hence the reference to India.
I stayed in Toronto downtown between 2017-2019 for 2 years while I was working with BMO and I was earning very well. I had a choice to get a PR and settle down permanently but I chose to return to India and settle here in my country. I think I made the right choice. We as Indians have some culture, food, friends, emotions, languages, bond, to enjoy which I missed there terribly. and BTW India is more technically advanced than Canada and Germany. We can have almost all the facilities sitting at home and there you spend all time doing household chores by yourself. I feel more Luxury in India if you are earning decent.
You won my respect ❤️ brother M in Newzealand but missing my home country like a hell 😭😭 Don't know y people are settling in abroad when they can make good money in home
Harry it's soo soo true. Please one request, don't worry about hate and never delete this video. It will guide a true path to our generation who are coming here leaving a good life in india. Actually it's not worth it. Reality is what you said in this video. Became your fan bro. Guts are needed to tell the truth nowadays. A big thumbs up to you.
i have been here for 3 years now, everything he said is truth. Initial 3-4 months is a lot of struggle carrying your grocery bags in snow as time passes it becomes a little easier but the struggle is never over in this country.
@@aliumair790 professional job here you need to have at least 15-20 years experience in police nursing doctors and whatever you looking for you need to have Canadian citizenship and must have Canadian work experience and skills must I don’t see anyone coming from Asia and Europe have that all either working in groceries or warehouse or restaurants
Canada is good if your refugees or your country is has ware other than that Canada is a work life balance country with taxes everyone allowed to come work 9-5 and pay rent’s and do that’s rest a of your life and die that’s all double job all day that’s it unless your grandma or grand parents left something for you you can enjoy like farm business or even land just pay property taxes no rent at all and electricity that’s it
I came to Canada few months back . Got the so called dream job with a very very good pay. Had an excellent job in India as well . But now I am planning to go back . What i realised in these few months is Canada’s clean air is the only plus point as compared to India . The WLB is good in Canada but it’s not worth the struggle imo . I have family in Canada and yet I feel India is way better if you earn well . The healthcare system is pathetic here . It might be advanced than India, but it’s pointless if it is unavailable. P.S. I am in IT
The processing time is bad. I got my spouse visa after one year and due to this I did not get my PR on time. I had to leave the country. Medical system is pathetic. Need to wait for more than 6 hours during emergency even after reaching hospital on time. No security at all
@@shruthidilipkumar6444 That’s the real picture and an eye opener for those who believe Canada giver free healthcare. Yeah, it’s free but you might be dead by then
@S210 X2 Well you seem to be fascinated by slumdog millionaire 😂 Canada offers only labour jobs to most Indians. Canada’s real estate is about to collapse and is highly overvalued. There is a very high racial discrimination in major metropolitans of Canada.. You defaming your own country clearly defines you are just a slave( look how you wrote India in small caps) and people like you can never understand the meaning of Nationalism. We all know the reality of Canada - People get a Canadian PR and just leave. You might be doing well but that’s not the case with everyone. On the other side, Indian middle class is a power house. I come from a lower middle income family and have experienced the enormous growth that India is experiencing ( specially IT) I am doing much better than my friends in Canada both financially and psychologically. New India is already in progress, it might take 2 decades to complete the transition but we are getting closer. Best of luck with your Canadian dream
Very well said, I have stayed in EU, UK & AU and seen the daily life and challenges. People with family and kids must think twice before settling abroad, high paying job is must to build your home and save for retirement. It would be challenging if you are in mid 30s + single earning member + 100k salary.
This is such a great video Harry! Agree with u 100% I really agree with everything u said. We were doing v well in India and coming here 3 years down the line we r struggling but some of our friends are doing so well here
I have my family in Canada, they struggled initial years doing odd jobs (selling home food) but after 6-8 years they kind of settled....if you really want to settle in a new country, go with an open mind and be ready to struggle...eventually you will settle. Do not expect a perfect life
Doesn't it feel lonely there? Have seen a lot of people complaining about it. I had this perception that loneliness won't be a problem as there are so many Indians there.
@Radhika It does and its not just lonely there's a kind of coldness that creeps in into even old relations. We have friends from 10 years ago also living here and even they have changed so much. Everyone feels isolated the culture is such that u dont go n visit anyone as casually as we did in India. Also racism is very much a reality here n affects every aspect of life. U feel like an outsider and cant fully integrate into society.
@@wheathusk2499 we have to go with an open mind to any new country. Everywhere racism exits, even in India. I am based in Dubai n I hear many say it is very isolating place. I disagree, as it also depends on us how we mingle n absorb. I have never felt lonely in Dubai n made friends and i keep making new ones almost everyday🤣 people i know just 2 hours, I am fine to go camping with them or invite them for tea...thats how I meet people n never felt lonrly. Dubai is not like India either but we got to make ourselves comfortable, same goes for any other new country we go to...this is my personal opinion.
I am a Sikh from Firozepur punjab and I lived in Canada for three years ..what I found was it is really sad there , only clean roads and development ,apart from it I felt really depressed and no joy ..the whites didnt give a shit..I came back to my nation on April 2022 after covid and since then I am staying here in my pind, I have no problem of income etc as I have a family business , now I inhale the fresh air of farms and the greenery in my Punjab is unmatchable ..there is something different in my village in my Punjab ,generally in countryside India which I cannot describe , now I just try to enjoy my life here and I help in farms too... Being in your motherland is a unique experience no matter how poor or rich it is..
You don't know the pain of poor, that's why you are saying this. Like you 90% of Indians don't have income security, no family business etc. So it's your advantage but not for all.
@@smstatus3133 yes I get it and I employ many people in my farms and provide them livelihood , I have around 5 helpers . Just an opinion, dont delete any video just because of hate. If you believe what you have shared is right, then it will be appreciated as the time passes by. Moreover, each and every video takes great effort to create.
The hate is due to people are not ready to accept anything even though it is the fact. They want to leave the country come what may... you cannot help such people, just leave them to their fate. They would learn the reality the "hard" way.

I live and work in Belgium past many years! Here as well, situation is not too nice for any aspiring new comers, unless you have a genuine job offer, and well paid job to start with. Life was easier and less expensive 10 to 15 years back here in Europe. Prices have shot up, especially fuel, groceries, electricity etc etc. Many native Belgians loosing their jobs because of cost cuts, bankruptcies of companies. But to say the positive side, we are back to normalcy after Covid pandemic and lockdowns. There are of course, shortage of very highly skilled workers , especially Engineers, specialised medical workers. Many Indians are now here working in Engineering, IT sector. Recently I have seen many Indian students as well in Belgian universities for Masters or research.
Good content 👌 I really appreciate your honesty. It's been 6 months since I'm in Canada, and it has turned out to be my nightmare. I'm praying for ease now 🙏
my brother came to canada in 2021 he got depression and came back after 10 months and lost all his money 22lakhs in vain with health problem he was admitted and now he takes antidepressants
My 2 fellow Indian friends just got arrested at their own condos since their study permit expired last week. I’ve heard so far that they will be deported and I think it’s the best thing that can happen right now since lately they were being and insulted harassed almost daily in our neighborhood
Oh my god finally a sensible video. You really asked a valid points to consider which if you have a threat in your home country, it is really important for people to consider that few people do not have luxury to move to canada just like that.
They should reconsider coming to Australia as well. Huge increases in the price of food, petrol and rent have left many unable to make ends meet. Additionally, about 50% of jobs have gone.
Just stay in your home country, make life better there, stop expecting you can drop all your problems and pack up and bring them somewhere else, its pathetic

Canada mai educated logo ko struggle krna hota hai... Maximum 1 year but..... Environment understand ho jaane k baad easy ho jaata hai. And vo 1 year aap ko rula dega. But daar k aage jeet hai
That's not true at all. If you area an educated doctor, pharmacist, dentist, nurse, teacher, physical therapist, etc. from back home, you struggle for minimum 3-4 years because you have to basically pass all exams in Canada. Maybe if you're from finance or management background, you can get a decent joh within a year but still no guarantees.
So true.. I am in Canada from last 15 years and still feel life is hard, lonely ,Indian community people will show you attitude and the weather is a big flaw. Taxes are going up, to get specialist doctors appointment one has to wait for at least 6 months. Canada”s healthcare system is crashing. My dad got a massive heart attack and had to undergo cardiac surgery. We had to go to India as back home you get medical consideration immediately and we did not wanted to wait for his by pass surgery. My personal experience and no hard feelings against Canada or any country. People and weather both are too dry. I always think of relocating.
Absolutely correct, if you are well settled in India then India is way better. We would have gone back but my kids won’t be able to settle there hence we are stuck here.

Travel 200 other 200 tax 150 and I remember I save only 300 to 200 dollars for some times I saved 100 because everything things is to expensive then I really think about my current situation and thought I have to escape from here then I moved to japan 🇯🇵 now I’m currently living in japan I think japan is better than canada because we can make more money everything is very affordable specially japan is the 3 rd economic largest country so I think japan is better than canada and there are many Canadian living in here
