It's great to hear negative voices about the annual pass instead of always wanting to talk positively, as many do. 👍 However, I absolutely cannot understand your attitude to the price of the annual pass. When I think about what we paid for the annual pass a few years ago, the price has tripled in the meantime. And you no longer get any additional benefits. And then there's this limitation... Disneyland Paris is really ruining it for its most loyal fans... What a shame!!! 👎👎👎 Unfortunately, we now plan our vacations differently because we don't want to feel like we're being screwed and ripped off on vacation.😢
Fijn om een filmpje weer van jullie te hebben. Sinds 2 jaar heb ik ook geen abonnement meer om bijna dezelfde redenen, het feit dat je niet 365 dagen kan gaan en moet reserveren. Via de anwb kopen we tegenwoordig een disney arrangement, daar is de prijs kwaliteit goed en slaap je in een disney hotel!
I called the annual pass line the other day to ask about hotel rooms for November, you can still book a room only rate with a "discount", but the discount is only from the price of the package+tickets to the room only rate. It was cheaper to book with Expedia!

Disney prices have rocketed , they've taken all the privileges. Its becoming pure greed now. Disney need to sit up and take notice as ive seen so many RU-vid videos where people are not buying or renewing
This was really helpful, thank you 😊 I've got 3 trips planned (1 day in March, 5 days in July and 3 days in October) and I was considering getting a Gold Pass because it covers the cost of tickets and I'd then receive the discounts and get the Photopass. However, the fact you can still only secure 3 days puts me off because I don't want to risk not being able to get the dates I've planned to be there and booked flights and hotels! I was an AP holder in the past, always had top tier and loved the privileges but with the increased price and removal of benefits, I don't think it's worth having any more 😢

Good to see you guys again. We had the same talk about the APs here. A short time before Covid, we were 100% sure to get APs (the same combination you had), but now, no way. We live in Germany about 650km away from DLP. We did some spontaneous trips to DLP in the past, but mostly you have to plan at least a little bit in advance. But with the three-day-regulation it totally makes no sense anymore (and all cancelled benefits). Maybe if you live very close and you can "just try to get in today" it's ok. Don't get me wrong, we still love DLP, especially for the Disney-Feeling (not only rides and stuff..), it feels like everything is only about big money. Raised food and hotel rates, Premier Access (which is a total rip-off). I know that everything in the world gets more expensive, especially over the last year, but it feels at Disney it's disproportionate. You should feature Efteling a lot more, they do an extraordinary job there. The rides, hotels, food and the "cast members" are top notch and they definitely don't have to hide behind Disney. Cheers!
I luve in The Netherlands now, but am from America. My family is in Florida, and I have been to Disney World there and to Disneyland Paris. My husband and I were formerly DLP annual pass holders looking to renew for an upcoming teip, but now feel the exact same way. So disappointing. We priced out a trip in October and were shocked to find that the hotel, and daily tickets to go to Disneyland Paris were not much cheaper at all than the same length of trip during the same week at the much larger and better Walt Disney World. So sad, because now it has us wondering if it is really worth going to DLP this October, which we were both so excited for. I think they have priced the annual passes in such a way that it only really benefits people living in or close to Paris who can make frequent visits for the day. The loss of Extra Magic Hours was also a huge letdown for us, too. Anyway, sadly reconsidering our trip now, and wondering if we should just put the money towards a trip to WDW next year while visiting my family.
Once our annual passes expire in November, we will stop visiting DLP. Compared to Disneyland in California and Disney World in Florida, DLP is 3rd rate.

It makes absolutely no sense to buy them ( at least for us ) without the benefits especially at that price. Nice to see that you are back. This is the brain storm of the "bean-counters" of the corporate offices. They are looking to discourage long term fans but curtailing the benefits of AP holders. I personally beleive they think that they are going to have an influx of visitors from the overflow of the Olympics in 2024 paying full price 1-day tickets and/or booking fpackages for their visit. If visitorship is not as anticipated and flops, the prices will drop and added benefits will return to AP pass holders. Hold tight...it is all about them thinking their profits will soar for the 2024 Olympics but they are making a huge mistake.
It’s a ridiculous rip off of loyal customers nothing else…they keep their focus on wealthy hotel visitors…that’s what they want…. Have a look at the US parks…..visitors dropping dramatically compared to Universal which is still growing
My group is cancelling ours as well. The 3 day limit on reservations was already a major bummer, but the removal of so many perks and the massive price increase was just too much.
I was going to buy an annual pass, I intended to go a few times next year, but now I won't as it isn't worth it. No perks, so many limits, and that's sad...May as well save the money and go somewhere else....so sad.
I love you guys, but…… 😂😂😂Those prices are so so so, so so cheap compared to California! And we don’t have ANY benefits here! All those benefits you listed we’ve never had in the first place. It’s probably hard to lose them, but we pay an arm and a leg for annual passes and the only benefit is 10% off food, and merch, which doesn’t even cover the sales tax! And we’re blocked out over holidays and lots of Saturdays. I can make five reservations at a time, which is better than three for sure, but there’s no such thing as a waiting list I wish we had that! I’ll trade you places anytime! Plus your castle is like 1000 times better!❤❤❤
Great too see you again. I totally agree. Big price increases were bound to happen. However, the 3 reservations is the main thing that stops me getting them now. We have had them 3 times previously and enjoyed some great trips. However, I think it will now be a once a year thing if that. Too many perks gone but the reservation system is the biggest issue.
I thought if ur an annual pass holder, u can go anytime u want 1 day or 2 days just walk in??? Thinking of getting 8ne as our next trip will he of park and tickets are 630 for 3 days 2 parks

It's definitely not worth it anymore especially since i used to get the Magic Plus for my whole family (family of 4), the prices now are crazy and with so little benefits I don't see the appeal. The 3 day reservation limit is also a killer, it's not like we can just visit any time, we have to travel 7 hours by plane to visit the parks, it's expensive for us, and the last time we were there we couldn't enter the parks for the last 2 days of our trip because it was fully booked. I renewed mine by chance just a month ago and thank god I did cause I'm planning on taking a friend in September so at least I'll have access to the Privileged tickets. Will be enjoying this pass until it expires and then I guess will be visiting the park much less.
Hey, you can still book a night only rate in Disneyland hotels. Just go to Expedia or booking and you’ll find all of them. It’s much easier than getting rate by phone, and sometimes the price is even lower than the “infinity discounted” price. Also note that you said “there is a limitation in access for pass holder” it’s no longer the case. As from now, as long as the park are not at at capacity, anyone can enter. INCLUDING the annual pass. That’s one of the only good news 😅
Ik had het plan dit jaar voor het eerst een jaarkaart te kopen maar door deze verandering zie ik daar toch vanaf. Zoals elise zegt... de magie van kom we stappen in de auto gaan...is helemaal weg. Plus alle dingen geschrapt zijn. Nee .. dat maakt het voor mij niet meer aantrekkelijk. Ik kan me niet voorstellen dat disney het zou houdt. Denken jullie dat ze dit een keer gaan herzien?

Great to see you guys back! For me, I don’t think I’ll ever go back to DLP. I was disgusted when they scrapped fastpass and now this? The magic has gone and been replaced with a very sour taste. I’ll stick to the Merlin attractions with their £299 per year platinum annual pass…!!
You are so right! You everything what I thought in the Min I heard about that. And YES you're so true: It was getting horrible to book and plan a short trip with an annual pass. So I have two friends and we three bouth the annual pass infinity last year, now we don't get new one, because it's cheaper when we look for a speacial offer for 3 Days incl Hotel. I don't get the new annual pass with less goodies, also there is nothing new in DLRP. The Avengers Campus is nice, but it is not "new". They make over the Areosmith and they didn't even well, 'cause you can see the screens. Only new: The Web-Shooter. But it's not a reason for double up the price and cancle all the goodies.
We have had a magic plus since covid and others before. Not sure when we first got one but must be over 10 years ago. Since the reservation system came in and starting to loose perks its days were numbered and this email is the final nale in the coffin. I was about to justify another 350 in November but I can not justify 499.
Yeah... Disneyland Paris.... did you know that 2 parcs in Calfornia are, hold your horses.... 1599,- per year?! With blockout days! Im coming from europe, but yeah, its not that much here. Even though I have to say that my favourite ride, the Tower, had been spoiled because they left out the original story. There is less reason for me to get the pass. I pass....! Even if I wanted to do so, I might consider paying monthly. Who knows, will DLP ever charge 1000,- euro for a yearround? Maybe I might return around the time of the third land. I dont know.
I have changed to the Gold Pass it’s still worth it for me. It’s way easier to get Park reservations. I stayed off site for 5 days in august and I had no problem getting all 5 days in a row

I'm totally on your side of the opinions. I've been having the "Magic Flex" pass but I don't think I'm going to buy a new one again. If there would be more benefits with this new price, then I wouldn't mind so much even it's actually 60~70% more expensive so suddenly. BUT with less benefits with this drastic price changing... ugh. This is a very sad news.
I do feel for people who want the ultimate Disney experience and live close to the parks. Usually, 360 days access means exactly that strange how you can only get 3 days. I’m not a pass holder but being a pass holder for other theme parks it’s a bit backwards. Charging people more for less..
We upgraded us all to infinity for our trip in October (so we could go for Halloween /book the infinity viewing area 😢) now, we’re also left with no infinity parking or stroller for our next trip. Think they should have let the existing “perks” run until the expiry date - and then we would have walked away on our own terms. Just feel we’ve wasted so much money on a pass that’s not what we signed up for.
I was looking forward to getting my first annual pass when they were rereleased, looking at all this, I won’t be doing it. It seemed so much more affordable beforehand as I do around 4 trips a year but now I don’t actually think it would make it that much cheaper, shame

Currently, the only way that having a AP has any worth is by living in France and be able to purchase one for yourself if you go to the parks alone, or if everyone on your party can afford one... should have gotten mine a few months ago before the awful change...
To play devils advocate, the huge perk we now have with this ap is that the reservations come out of the same pool as the people who booked a day ticket or sleep in a hotel. We used to have our own ap pool that was significantly smaller. Disney announced that this would mean that waiting for such a long time before you can enter just wont happen as often. Maybe only in the busiest parts of the year. Again, was it worth the huge price increase and the loss of perks? Probably not. But I never had infinity or slept in a disney owned hotel, so I dont lose a lot of perks, just my own queue.

Ik heb gister met Disneyland Parijs gebeld! Je kan een room-only boeken (met de huidige passes; maar dan wel ZONDER korting). EMH blijft voor de huidige passen (Plus en Infinity). Je krijgt geen verlingingskorting, en je kan alleen verlengen naar de “hogere pas”. De Privilege Tickets (voor de huidige passen) prijzen zullen wijzigen rond oktober. Gold Passes zullen met EMH via de “hotelovernachting ingang” gaan. LET OP: volgend jaar vanaf ongeveer juni zijn de olympische spelen in Parijs het zal dus sowieso erg druk zijn, ook in Disneyland Parijs; goed businessplan van DLPR.
I'm in London and have never had an AP. However I had one of the happiest weekends of my life so far at FanDaze 2018.. and I want to go to the AP parties as its the closest thing to that, so I think I'll get the Silver... however I too would like to find out about rooms only at Disney hotels.

The changes are obviously all about money. Its possible that disney has got themselves into a position that there are too many people with annual passes and this is there way to strip it back. Hopefully since yhey have changed this there will ne more offers else where at Disneyland foe example hotel packages etc
