The more I see this jersey, the more I don’t like it. The font is ridiculous, and do agree with the Philly Captain that “7” is brutal. That may be hard for fans to read. I won’t waste money buying one, but if someone gave me one it would quickly become my oil change shirt.

A few thoughts: - Fabric looks cheap and wrinkled - The ‘patch’ is a sticker. It also looks like they just through in little homages to Philly as an after thought (LOVE, cheesesteak, skyline) - The colors aren’t the same tone as the city flag - Names are still way too small A person out at Nike HQ in Portland, that has never been to Philly or watches sports, was in charge of a Philly sports jersey?? I hope we win every game this season/postseason but NOT on Friday home games! (I’m so petty 😭)
In my opinion, for a professional baseball team that began in this city in 1883, these uniforms are HIDEOUS. They show no respect to this great game of baseball and to the rest of the National League.
I'm for anything that will benefit the great game of baseball on and off the field but some of these alternative uniforms are horrendous! They look like bad softball uni's. I'm referring to many of these uniform "concepts", not just the Phillies. A Phillies uniform should always have a red/maroon color scheme. The colors, although historically correct for the city is odd. The powder blue road uniforms, reminiscent of the '70's and '80's, like the jersey you wear is terrific. The current color scheme reminds me of the Jacksonville Jaguars of the NFL. It's bizarre.
I do not like the new Friday Phillies jerseys !! I think 3 official jerseys is enough !! Home ,away and the off white on weekends. Let's get more tradition in the Phillies organization. I mean we got like 6 different jerseys were wearing now !!!! Too much !!!! GO PHILLIES !!!!
It could be better. I think a Gradation from the Yellow to Light Blue would be better. and that PHILLY and numbers font could be tweaked. The P needs to be changed and change the rest of the letters to a lower case.
Honestly all they had to do to make them at least mid/serviceable is not use dogwater Harry Potter fonts. Still wouldn’t be great, but I’d at least buy it for the culture. On the bright side the hat is solid and some of the shirts was good enough to cop
I like them and will purchase a customized 1 along with the cap. Been waiting my whole life for one of our professional sports teams to use "Philly" on the jersey. Sixers should have done that instead of "Phila".
But I don't want a connect jersey thats mid or a "Meh" reaction. I wanted these to be the best looking connect jerseys in the league. Thats why i'm disappointed.

Disgusting and disappointing. Would the Yankees or Dodgers change their colors? The Phillies are becoming the East coast version of the Arizona D-Backs. Crap.
Exactly and not to say follow the lead of the Dodgers or Yankees but remain a class act professional and National League baseball team, not a group of players that look like a city softball team.

Even tho I'm not from Philly I do like these new city connect jerseys but from the look of it it does look kinda hot looking if you wear them in the summer heat just because it's dark blue. The Philly font is cool tho.
