I don't think it's right to say that justice was served. It seems that Arthur killed his wife and used all those items she collected to frame the writer. It's still murder, even if she did not the right thing

I hadn’t thought about spoilers when I wrote my comment and wouldn’t want to spoil it for others. The pity is that it makes it impossible to discuss a story afterwards, which is part of the fun. Maybe we should start comments with SPOILER ALERT?
