You are really helpful as a young guy just coming into farming about your cover crops and pigs and the fact you can admit when you did something not exactly the right way means your a damn good farmer half of all farming is learning from your mistakes

What percentage of their feed is foraged and cover crops? Do you find the quality of meat diminishes or improves with certain foraged or covers?

It depends on the season and whether we are talking about breeder pigs or feeder pigs. Check out video on savaging money on grazing pigs in cover crops. In terms of meat quality, the more diverse their feed, the better the meat is. I’ve heard that some feeds like fish and seafood can make the meat taste fishy. I don’t feed them. But the plants so far improve the taste.
