The issue for me personally is, I've never seen an example of this in any normal person's life. I grew up with my best friend, who was litterally autistic. Yet his genes allowed him to be naturally fit and strong. So just keeping up with his lifestyle and thinking was too much for me. I literally have to go to a Phsychiatrist for my depression and ADHD. Just shows you that sometimes people just have an advantage in life. Or am I just being narcissistic for believing I'll never be good enough to perform at his level. But still be able to make it in real estate?

There’s actually research that backs this. I’m paraphrasing but they measured IQ and income or net worth and found as IQ went up, income went down. At a certain point higher IQ people hit a plateau, think doctors, lawyers, college professors. But people with maybe lower IQ than them figured out a way to earn more. Think entrepreneurs and finance. Of course this isn’t a universal law, but it makes sense, smart enough to see opportunities (and go after it with dedication) but dumb enough to think it might actually work, the sweet spot.
