Vloggers mostly prefer to visit Gilgit Baltistan in summers between June -Sept and people think that people of Gilgit Baltistan are living in heaven, but u people have shown this harsh weather of Gilgit Baltistan. Only few people might have seen this before..... Now people would realize that how tough it is to live there in winters but still they are happy.. Hats off to Steve & Luana❤️.. lots of love
What on earth was that 😱 interesting & unique hmm...never seen this kind of culture. It is important to preserve their cultural heritage thereby defining their national identity , this festival keeps the community together 👍 that's fantastic 👍
I sit here, in my comfort zone in Karachi, exploring and experiencing the North through your eyes for the first time. Thank you for introducing me to this experience.
You both are so fortunate to have such memorable experiences and meet such wonderful people. We are so fortunate to see your videos. Another informative video! Keep safe, healthy and happy.
OMG. I would like to congratulate you guys for covering such a hidden gem of a culture and tradition from masses including us Pakistanis. You guys are having a real treat. What an amazing vlog. Great job. One day I will visit the Beautiful people of shimshal. Insha Allah
Wow! Saw this festival for the 1st time, thanks to you guys! . Huge respect for the people of Shimshal for wearing masks in a festival during Pandemic, this is what unity alongside responsibility looks like side by side👍
Very interesting and unique indeed! Wow! I never knew or heard of this place! The yak oil, the festival, the people... I noticed there's no overweight/obese ppl there...all good-looking, in good size and height, beautiful ladies, children...and Steve just fit in right there! Ivana you sure look cold, almost shivering... Thanks for showing these unique place. 👍👍👍
@@h-sam2733 I didn't mean it. We all have our part. Punjabis n Muhajireen suffered during partition, Kashmiris suffered during wars, KPK n Balochistan suffered during War on Terror. My forefathers maybe not Muhajir but they were not kinda landlords either but just a "Qabaili". Am proud of my roots and wish some day our concealed culture get same recognition as those in big cities. Peace out!
The people of Shimshal seem really special. I wish there was a safer way of getting there - the government of Pakistan should really help these people out with the infastructure they need!
Shogun bohor Muborak We celebrate tagham festival you may call it spring festival we welcome spring in a unique way and start our cultivation Thankyou bro for the beautiful video ❤️❤️
An awesome, interesting and knowledgeable vlog... learned and saw so much about the culture, tradition of the people in Northern Pakistan. Great work, Steve lvana. Your vlogs are absolutely interesting as always. Massive thanks to you both ❣️❣️
Hey ! I’m from Scotland stuck in Islamabad due to the lockdown in the UK & I have some sort of freedom in their nation instead of being bored in the UK. I just wanted to say that I am so happy that you guys are experiencing the real Pakistan instead of listening to what the media say about the nation. Absolutely honoured to watch to videos & it satisfies my soul you & other westerners are here sharing your experiences. I have travelled to various Countries such as Colombia, the USA, France, Italy, Austria, Turkey, Russia, Vietnam, Malaysia & Israel. Travelling is fatal to the prejudice to the intolerance & to the negativity of the mind. Keep on experiencing & sharing your videos. I love to learn about my nation as well as other nations. Massive love 💙
Steve you did a great job with that local dance so for us the high light of event was steve and evana :) bravo .......there is some mystery hidden in juniper tree branches. This tradition probably comes from the ancient greek who used to wear wraths made of juniper tree and juniper tree was venerated in many ancient tribal cultures. Alexander the great brought with him greek culture to these lands (north pakistan). I have seen local dresses from our north region with greek sun motif. I have one in mh collection i wish i could show you tha here.

Yes! Northern Pakistanis are descendants from Alexander the Great and look quite European. People often thought I was a Pakistani, when I had my beard and was wearing my Pakistani cricket shirt especially :)
