This video is my attempt at venting some frustration. Battlefield is a game I love but for many reasons, it can be difficult to play. Update: I should have been more clear in the section regarding BF4DB. They people over there have done some good work in banning cheaters and essentially improving the experience for all of us. Cuban was called out because of what he did and also, BigE is not the only person to reach out to me and complain about him specifically. I feel as if I've painted everyone at BF4DB with the same brush, something that wasn't intended but certainly shows through this video. BigE did have his ban lifted afterwards.
About time. Abusive admins have ruined the game. There is no community anymore. Just random games with random squads. The moment you use strategy and teamwork, you are banned. If you push forward, you are banned. Sad ending for the community, I don't know what the solution is.
I don’t disagree with your concern about how that bf4db ban and appeal was handled but I do feel that you didn’t fully represent how it resolved. bf4db.com/player/ban/913779995 the account was an alt account and Cuban was the admin who lifted the ban.
I can deal with badmins.... It does make it a bit difficult to find servers at times. My major problem is with BF4DB and AngryCuban. They are really unfair and demand unrealistic expectations to "prove" that you are not a hacker. I had a couple great headshot games and it was demanded of me that I replicate those stats. I couldn't do it. It took 8 years and this was the first time I had like 75% headshots, I can't ever replicate that. That was just a damn lucky game. Ugh!
YES MAN!!! (Siege of Shanghai) I know what server you're talking about. I always get pissed in that lobby. I even got kicked once for sniping 1 of the badmins from the tower. Before he could get off the floor with the chopper. Lol I don't care I got kicked I'm just glad I got the clip.
I make sure to blacklist those servers. Fighting against vehicles is already hard enough, but when you remove all counters it's awful to see admins farm with orbital choppers. Overall K/D needs to be changed to a per weapon type ratio. A 17.3 ratio is way more impressive on a pistol than a tank. Fighting against vehicles can be fun but vehicle users need to realize, aircraft in particular, that they have a ton more in their favor than infantry and we need peel to make moves.
I think bf1 nailed vehicle balance, things like getting your track disabled definitely made it more balanced, all they have to do now is import that into bf6 (whitch I hope is a modern setting like bf4)
@@alecnolastname4362 I got banned on the 24/7 City Assault server cuz I called out BS from admin! They forbid Spawn rape and guess what? Enemy Attack Chopper was raping my team in spawn (siege of Shanghai). The next round I got directly to C to snipe the chopper down with my IGLA so they couldn't leave the spawn (just like the dude did with us before). I got killed for spawn raping and after calling BS I got perm banned. Those fuckers deserve to die from covid.
As someone who is a good player I'm literally running out of servers to play, mostly due to stupid admins who are terrible players who have no idea what is possible. Literally one of my most recent appeals I recorded the entire moment they thought I was cheating (its posted on my channel now) and its very clear I know what I'm doing, but it was denied because im a "cheater"

Same i've been banned from all my main servers and i don't even bother making appeal i once tried and they basically told me to fuck off. Now i collect these bans like trophies.

I just kept sniping him out again and again and what did he do.. he BANNED me! What a looser. I will never forget it. It was a long time ago but when I see his name I get pissed. I remember me and my friends found a cheater on our team in bf1 and we kept letting the enemy know where he was and he ended up with one of the lowest k/d scores in the game and then left it was a pretty proud moment for all of us
There's an old BFBC2 video I found of a cheater getting teamkilled and defibrillated by his own team to prevent him from cheating. The cheater recorded his side and tried to make it out like he was the victim of boosters. He then posted the video on the old BF forums (before battlelog) hoping to get the other players banned. Someone saw his post and replied with a video of him cheating before the other teammates started killing and reviving him. Most satisfying forum read ever. I vaguely remember the cheaters name, "pingulolol" or "pingululu" or something like that.
this whole world is becoming a "guilty until proven innocent" society instead of the way it should be. this badmin should get permanently banned from Battlefield 4
Angry Cuban unbanned BigE1293 the same day he tried to appeal his ban. Art just cut out that part so it fits his message more. Cuban probably also knows more about the game than Art does. He's not a badmin you just don't know the perspective. Account with low hours and somewhat average stats (Since BigE stated that its his alt account for trying to learn reg guns) starts banging out 90%+ HSKR with snipers. At the time of the ban there was no link to BigE1293's main account which would have been more of a proper indication of no cheating. However since that link wasn't there at the time, all they saw was a fairly new account getting some eye-brow raising stats after getting pretty average stats prior to that.
Most people that are cheating are blatantly obvious. I've been told a dozen times I was going to be reported to BF4DB and never once have been. If you read through the BF4DB forums for denied appeals and look at the evidence from BF4CheatReport.. 95% or better of the people that get banned are obvious and the admins more or less are competent at what they do. If we tried innocent until proven guilty those cheaters would be running around for a full extra 1-3 days killing servers and ruining people's games. For NA servers, VQ37 is the only server I've actually found with admins who might legitimately have an IQ of 37.

One time me and my clan were playing against each other on a empty server for fun. People started coming in and having a blast. Fully populated that server. Then a admin or badmin so to say stepped in and started switching maps and stuff. Which we begged him/her not to do, which this badmin started saying we don't have a say yada yada.. Then all of a sudden started banning all of us saying we hacked. Cuz we killed him/her. Their server got emptied, we had loads of friend requests and we actually started our own servers. This is a long time ago but still, I've seen things like that nowadays aswell.

That's a server tick rate issue, Happens frequently on 30-60hz servers, Try to play on 90hz or higher servers to get +95% hit reg at all times, It'll be very rare to get hit reg problems on 90hz servers unless you have bad internet
This is why I’ve always preferred to play battlefield on console. I get that’s a weird statement but after a few years and 1.5k hrs I’ve never run into a cheater. And every console cheater I’ve seen on RU-vid is blatant asf.
@scott gates Never had any issues myself on 360 and One. Maybe I didn't notice them. Only 50+ K/Ds Ive seen are the usual orbital chopper spammers. Unless there's some kind of cheat to reset the cooldown on flares for choppers?

One thing I always hated was starting a match alone, or with a friend, and halfway through it I'd get moved to the enemy that's losing, or separated from my friend.
I used to run several servers back in the day and my nr 1 priority was to avoid shit like this. Made clear instructions on how to ban people and made a push for the guys who code procon to add an option that tagged which admin who made the ban on the ban reason. OFC some admins did some mistakes and some probably quit (and some booted) because I was so strict on following these rules I've set up. Having strict rules when banning cheaters is a must in a good community, I hope all owners will try to do that, and if some admins break the rules on how to ban a cheater, remove his rights/ or make sure he doesn't do the same mistake twice.
My dad plays a lot btf4 while he has some freetime, i've seem him play and he's super good playing, every time i see his score at a match most of the time he is the mvp, ive never was as good as him while i played the game, sadly he sometimes gets banned for what i only see as playing too good for some admins :/

I remember playing classic BF. They had the same issues with these admins. Even worse were the "Christian" servers where you would get banned for saying "ass" even though the characters swear and commit war crimes on screen. For some reason there were a lot more of those and they were heavily populated.
I was banned from server because I snipped server admin when he was flying his chopper and then he banned me. That day i was so angry at these admins who kicks players for just playing the game better than them. That day I uninstalled my BF4 and never installed it.

let me throw my 2 pence here. You think BF4DB is bad you should check out Battlefield agency, they run scripts on servers that don't use the BA anticheat and you can get banned on near all servers for being "toxic" by BA, but what is the definition of being toxic from admin to admin, all of their bans are undisputable, majority of admins are corrupt and take a blind eye to their friends to be fair some of the anti cheat admins do actually care and they do do a good job of banning cheaters and RTB cheaters. Bad server admins... WHG banned me and 2 buddies for antistacking vs 4-5 WHG admins plus their friends in a full server... the admin is called Crazyeyedjack and he made a plugin to specifically auto switch us so we cant play on the same team, we played that night when the server was full so clearly you cannot autobalance 32v32 right? he then later accused us of making a script to stop his autobalancer from switching us which is the dumbest thing I have heard in a bf4. We got into their discord and he didnt want us to kill the server by stacking... even though we were antistacking.. when we disputed this we were told "My house my rules" and blocked and banned from their discord. VQ37 is another NA server that will ban you for having over a 3k/d and have 5kmp with ANY gun, so f.e a glock18 u dont run around with it all the time only when you need to pistol so inherently your KPM is ALWAYS going to be high regardless of being good or bad. RnR also ban for having a k/d over 2.5 (i think). these servers kill the community and same with the pathetic admins of BF4DB and BA admins.
Our toxicity ban list can be enabled or disabled by any admin at their free will, regardless of kicking cheaters - yes, toxicity can not be clearly defined (no one can), although we try our best to do so in our ban policy (which is available on our website). You being kicked for a toxicity ban, which you can appeal once by the way, is simply the server owners agreeing with our definition of toxicity and not wanting you on their server. Art hearting this comment of random insinuations just shows how beneath any kind of fact this video is.
TheMrSjenkie I got a warning from someone spectating today because apparently I switched to the losing team and helped them win. In reality, I got autoswitched to the losing team by their shitty server config lmao.

as a battlefield player since bf2, I'm pissed to see what has become of the franchise, i miss the old days of battlefield when the devs actually wanted to make a game fun for the player base. i fear that a franchise we all came to love for its fun moments an gameplay has finally died off. Man I miss that game, sadly had to drop it because to many crazy good chopper groups that are unwilling to help some one learn, just chopper camp and even kill the other chopper in spawn, it got to be the point where it was pretty much every game like this, takes away so much that I just got rid of the game :(
Someone actually messaged me on BF4 the other day complaining about me killing them with the MK11 rifle accusing me of “googling the best weapon” I’m rank 110 and had this game for years on Xbox lol. And to complain about me using a decent gun is just ridiculous
Back in the day it was funny to get banned from servers. Now with the shortage of servers, it's more of an annoyance to get banned if you've only got 3 other populated custom servers to choose from.
So glad you made this video.. it definitely needed addressing. I have experienced this before since joining PC and also now still banned on many servers for 'suspicious headshots' It seems anyone who is any good on PC is considered 'cheating'
I personally play on the rock and roll servers here recently a lot of admins got removed and new ones brought in the new ones are really friendly and nice and it’s slowly but surely being less toxic as these new admins are changing the server for the better.
I don't blame you one bit for feeling this way. I walked away from the franchise for exactly what you are describing. Dice doesn't care, and the cheaters have free reign. It is absurd.
If it wasn't for BF4DB BF4 would have been dead 4 years ago. Couldn't go a day without people flying, infinite rockets, god mode bullets, or DDOS servers constantly. I don't think people realize how many obvious cheaters get banned every single day.
The intention was to show that Cuban doesn't know how to play the game. I understand that many of the admins are really great players with comp experience. Considering how many people Cuban has banned, I don't think it was an unfair assessment.

All the ones I've read that have resulted in a ban have pretty clear evidence. Regardless of Cuban's stats or any of the admins, I haven't seen any bans that stuck without good evidence. Also there is a whole approved appeals section. I feel like the admins know what they're doing more than is given credit for. Your points on Badmins and boosters is completely valid though.
Theres also the 2 man squad in the attack jet and stealth jet literally preventing people from using ground vehicles. The Jdam bomb definitely needed a nerf
This brings me memories of my last days in BF2, at the end it was a huge server where everyone played. So I joined in,had a great game killing lot of people in short time and the admin didn't like it and I got ban from all their servers
Having known Angry_Cuban for awhile, your comment about him is pretty ridiculous. First of all, that guy that you are whining about getting banned did in fact get unbanned. And second, asking a person to replicate suspicious stats is incredibly reasonable. MOST Admins across MOST servers and moderation sites do the same. Cuban was even nice enough to average out 3-5 games so the guy didn't even have to replicate the most ridiculous stat game. Your complaint calling him a badmin is pretty pathetic. My experience with him is that he is significantly more fair than most admins I have ever come in contact with from specific servers.

This video is the most biased thing i have seen in a while. All of this because a friend of your was banned for less than 48 hours. The guy was banned for having 90-95% head shot kills on an account with 65 hours played. Very few people can get that kind of accuracy, usually people with that kind of accuracy are cheating.. Certainly it was suspicious, and when he appealed and showed that he could actually play that well, he was unbanned. He was banned and unbanned by the same admin you are complaining about. From the time he was banned until he was unbanned was under 48 hours. But you didn't bother to mention any of that did you? You didn't even mention that he got unbanned at all. The guy cheating in the beginning of the video was banned by BF4DB 6 months ago, also didn't fit your narrative I guess. I've only seen a few people who appealed with crazy head shot accuracy like that and then actually prove they could do it, you could probably count the number on one hand. Most people will have nothing but head shots for weeks and then get 0 in their appeal, or just straight up aimbot in their appeal video. It sucks if people get wrongly banned, but it doesn't happen nearly as often as you try to make it seem in this video. Punkbuster, the official anti-cheat of BF4, was proven to have false positives. The evidence was sent directly to Evenbalance, the people who make Punkbuster, and they laughed all the way to the bank saying there was no way there was a false positive. I can assure you Punkbuster falsely banned more people than BF4DB has, probably thousands more. The anti-cheat for BF4 hasn't been updated since 2015. DICE and EA don't care about this game at all. The only reason the PC version of this game is playable without cheaters is because BF4DB took over where DICE and EA completely failed. BF1 does not allow people to be kicked from private servers, and BF5 doesn't have private servers, and both of those games are full of cheaters. You should be complaining about EA and DICE failing at anti-cheat while removing these private server options, not at the people who used the server options to make the game playable without cheaters. If you don't like BF4DB, then fine, play on servers that don't run it.
This is old story but I won't forget it. In Battlefield 3 I encountered a Badmin Spawn campping with the Attack Helicopter. The damned thing single handedly pinned us down at our spawn. And for some reason any Anti Air Launchers are unable to target him. Our team have no chance.. (Edit : Recently I got kicked because apparently the server has to make a spot for Admin on Battlefield 1. I was in awe...)
I was just banned on a VQ37 server by AluminumPints for cheating. I offered to send him a 5 minute clip of ge-force experience of the moments captured before I got banned and he said "so" and proceeded to ban me from the VQ37 discord and forums. Im still banned from the servers. At first after watching your video maybe I thought "Nah, it couldnt be too bad" I shit you not, the next day I play battlefield 4 and experience this issue myself..
I'm an admin on a server with a fairly large community and I can not believe that some players are really kicking/banning for being just better than the admin itself. A person with this kind of elevated permission on a gaming server should act and punish out of reasons and not out saltyness or pure stupidity like banning someone for killing them. It is sad to see how some people are running this game and behave if they have power, unfortunately the sad reality.

VQ37 is the only server I've ever been banned on. Twice. First one for starting a round of Locker with a 4KPM on a quick 12 killstreak. No one could possibly be that GoDlY at the game. And unlike the other servers it's a permanent never-lifted ban. IQ37 might be giving them too much credit.
@@scopie49 Yea VQ37 is a trash community. If you kill an admin you are gone or go on any kind of kill streak. Basically they want no skill players in their servers because it is easier for them to admin when there is no one in there good pissing low level players off.
Badmins are the worst. Both on BF4 and BF3. Also: another name and shame, VQ37 and the BF3 metro server "MetroNoobs". Both banned me due to "suspicious stats" or "clear macroing" (bf3 an94 is something else) Both immediately banned me from their discord/website when I tried to appeal, without ever taking into consideration anything I had to say. Sad to say that badmins like these could ruin these games for everyone.
All admins of this server called metronoobs sucks, bad players, always negative 20/40, and they say im a good player, LMAO. They only want money and no one can play fine, high K/D you got banned. Everyone is macro suspicious for them, i see that, really sad. They only want bad players with M320, Saiga frag rounds playing there, if you know to shoot with a weapon they will ban you fast than flash lol
This video reminds of a time when I got banned from a Call of Duty Black Ops server by a salty admin because I blew up his killstreak helicopter as soon as it came in. I wasn't even aware of admin abuse on BF4 PC servers, but now I know to watch my back. Some people are just pathetic, so they abuse their power to get a temporary feeling of control.
You should see the PS4 servers, I find many modded controllers and keyboards and it really isnt worth going on many conquest servers I myself as a level 137 am banned on over 20 servers and I'm terrible compared to most hardcore players
Banana republic admins are over the top, they think there the FBI with endless questions about your skill levels and were you've been and played lol. Sad police admin's are gonna kill this game and drive players away...
The badmins are such a nuisance. My favorite was a guy on a PS3 Golmund only server who wouldn't let jets kill helis, but would let the helis kill the jets, and was overall acting like a soggy, overcooked mushroom ravoili

I didn't even get a reason to ban me. It was just a regular tank round for me. I had like 20 killstreak or something and then one of their stupid challenges pops up to kill mvp player and receive a vip slot and at that time it was me. So they tried to kill me for 10 minutes, the message popped out like 5 times again since then. And still they could not destroy my tank despite the fact i didn't even had a gunner/rep man and i was in the middle of the map almost all of the time (it was zavod btw). And then all of a sudden i'm disconnected and get "you are banned on this server" window. That's how they got rid of me. Extremely fair and not petty at all.
Had a game two days ago with a hacker and he kept getting kicked (the server I was on doesn't allow for spectate) and eventually permabanned. It was a hacker that linked two account to squash their ban which didn't work. About 2 minutes into metro rush he was 16-1 using ace23. Another game he got kicked 4 times but each time before being kicked he'd have the highest kills on the server, get kicked and start again before the circle continued.
Good video. Well said. You're probably not aware, but THAT'S EXACTLY what's going on with Titanfall 2. Cheaters are everywhere, may not be 50% like in Warzone but watchdog groups are saying its edging cost and closer to 35% of people cheating, hacking. Toxic players often, using wallhacks, rapid fire, silent aim, triggerbot, health and invisibility hacks...And known hackers caused the entire infrastructure of cloud servers to go down for months. Cheaters and hackers are ruining multiplayer. That's why there is finally a push towards better offline bot experience. Too bad BF4, Warzone, Titanfall 2, Apex are being destroyed, albeit slowly.
You also need to be careful of what I call “rig servers” nowadays in BF4. I have identified a number of US based servers that do this. They will actively switch monthly donors to the winning team, calling it “autobalancing” and force all lower ranked and less skilled players who have not donated to lose almost every match. I have never personally donated to any server, and am somewhat skilled at BF4. Some nights while playing, I’ll lose 6 rounds straight terribly, by 700+ ticket differences. These servers will force me on a team with complete noobs, and we will get base farmed the whole round with no chance of stopping it. You try and speak up calling for balancing- you’ll just get the usual “teams will be scrambled next round” excuse. This never happens, and when the next game starts - all the donors will be back on the same team next game for another farm fest against the “noobs”. These servers also grant donors higher power with map voting, so they can always choose maps that have vehicles perfect for padding their stats with attack choppers / jets / scout choppers / etc. As if stats matter in a 10 year old game.
Oh I forgot, they also then invade our base and steal our vehicles just to add insult to injury and make it even more impossible to win. You complain - they’ll just use whatever stupid trendy catchphrase that comes to mind. “Get good my dude”.
PB bans are ignored by us since PB has been falsely banning people for a while now - and there is no way for someone to appeal a ban at Evenbalance. We do not want to be an enforcement tool for a bad anticheat, we have our own methods and bans. Also, we are in no way related to BF4DB so mentioning both without even a comma in between is kinda inappropriate.

Polloloco who runs Battlefield Agency is a complete joke. A KNOWN cheat developer who developed BA to ban players from a different platform other than BF4DB... Played on one of his servers, called him out as clearly he was hacking.....guess what BAN HAMMER! I did manage to get it lifted as i was banned for toxicity (for calling him out) and under their ToS which has a one time unban for 'toxicity'... Its a complete joke that a known cheat developer can get his own server, make his own plugin tool and WALLAH....the ultimate ban hammer.

I used to play battle field 3-4 all the time and it was a big part of me growing up, its a shame to see what battle field 4 has become and despite how little faith I have I hope this problem gets fixed in the future
The whole BF series is depressing, me and my friends stopped playing BF after BF 5 as there was no Anti-Cheats, and the servers were dreaded by either cheaters who kill others for stats, and then just rebuild the structures / bases to calm down the score to not get kicked out. The other hackers are the worst as they are they are clearly hacking, and just wiping servers after servers as people leave. I have experienced that you wait 5 or more minutes in a queue to an ongoing match only to be left out with 4 or 6 players in it. So BF is dead as long as Dice is not doing anything with it. It is a shame
Just played 2 rounds on a server where I believe it was an admin (he had the name of the server tag on his nickname) and a lot of people were complaining about a hacker in game and he did nothing about it, and even worse, he would teabag all players who were complaining about the hacker. It's really annoying, and makes online gaming a pain instead of having enjoyable time.
This is a good point! But the BF series was at it's most popular when the Clans were able to run the servers. The Clans that worked together to moderate the servers properly would be up when others were abandoned. Don't know what the proper solution is but here's hoping someone can figure it out. Yeah, my buddy and i were flying around in a LB on that flooded map, he got banned from a server because the admin playing on the opposite team didn't like how insanely stupid good he was at flying those things. Why don't companies hardware ban like overwatch? That way the hackers can never play the game again. The only reason I can think is the companies get money from people rebuying the game.
Got BF4 a little while ago because it seems like a fun game, and it is. I really enjoy the Infantry-Only servers because I feel the vehicles make it unfair to ground troops most of the time. However I kept getting kicked by an admin from the Misfits of Mayhem server for some unknown reason and it did make me feel a bit down because that's merely the only server I'm able to connect to where I can have double-digit ping numbers.
the genral toxicity in this game now is also a huge issue, players not following rules, getting banned for it, then they grief and dox you, its all just so pathetic, makes me want to give up with the brand
I remember when i use to play bf3 and got some amazing high streaks, i would be called a cheater a lot and then votekicked easily but pathetic frustrated players who really had nothing better to do or they just wouldnt care so they pressed "yes" everytime a votekick would turn out on the screen. Thank god in BfV i cant be votekicked because i have a good tanking streaks that sometimes appear as cheating. They dont take into consideration that you have 1500+ hours spent into a game and that high k/d may come from tank using. Votekick is like a democracy and admins are like dictators. So sometimes even democracy fails because people are too angry with one good player topping their game and ruining their fun.
Team balance is a joke in BFV. Half the time you'll get imbalanced teams where it's 20 vs 30. As much as I don't like BF1's team balancing putting good squad mates on the enemy team, it's far better than what BFV has.
Was on a server about a week ago, noticed someone knowing where I was before I even appeared. I was not spotted at that point as the map had only been going for like a minute, person used an M416 and shot me at the distance only a sniper or DMR can accurately shoot at, so I knew I saw a cheater from that point onward as this happened more than once over the course of 4 matches on Golmud Railway. Each time said individual looked at me my game froze and I died almost instantly. I checked my connection seeing as I had a new router at the time, but it came back with what I usually see most days even when on other games, so Its definitely not me or my Internet, so I tested ping... came back with normal results. This was on Xbox One and there is a possibility of outdated servers, but in all seriousness, the player was cheating and had some kind of wall hack-lag switch combo, as everyother server I played In there were absolutely no issues to speak of.
I got banned by the admins of a website called 247fairplay.com. It´s 4-5 years ago. First I thought it´s no problem, but many servers used the plug-in from these website. So i decided to write a banappeal. I had to make a video of myself playing BF4. After they´ve seen that I´m not using cheats they´ve removed the ban. It took almost three months. And a few months later I got banned again and took 2 month to remove that ban. And all because I had a too high accuracy :D That was a hard time for me because my choice of servers was very small and sometimes I can´t play with my own clanmates.
You should talk about the corruption of the vQ37 servers. Some of the worst admins in the game run those servers. You can get banned for having a slightly above average KD and can also get banned for saying anything slightly unorthodox in chat. Admins are also super unprofessional and rude.
Past few days I find cheaters in my servers on BFV. They openly admit to it in chat, and say they want to see the game fail. I don't think I can go along with buying the next Battlefield if something isn't done about it. When I find a clean server, it can be one of the most rewarding game experiences for me, but boy it stinks when a cheater enters the server.
I've said it before and I'll continue to say it: banning innocent players is worse than letting cheaters go free. I've only had it happen to me once, but it was on one of my favorite servers and I was never given a chance to appeal it. Beware the badmins if you play on VQ37 servers.
