Dear fellow Naga friends, I just want to encourage you all that: Christians should not affirm, participate or promote homosexuality, because it’s a sin. Homosexuality is one of the sexual sins in the Bible. If one chooses to live a sinful life, let them be but we can pray for them to turn away from such sinful behavior. We can love and care for them but not affirm their sins, actually any kind of sins. It is not a surprise for me that this ideology is being legalized in India and now getting into our state Nagaland, and that there are already some individuals that are trending homosexual lifestyles there. We are easily influenced by the western culture positively and negatively, and unfortunately negative influences are higher than the positive influences. Here in America, the lgbtq movement has gotten too far that it has become like a war between the Christians and this movement. It also has caused divisions among the Christians. Many churches have been divided because of this movement, there is also a battle between the parents and the school districts over this movement. Things are getting ugly here, and I would not want this to happen to our Naga community. Be on vigilant, spread the awareness to not to affirm this lifestyle if you are truly a born again believer. God loves everyone but only the ones that confess their sins and have salvation through Jesus Christ, who live and keeps the law of God will enter the kingdom of God. We cannot call ourselves “Christians” and live a sinful life. God is love but God is also a jealous God who wants to have us to Himself, He is also God of wrath who brings judgment to those who don’t keep His commandments. Stay faithful and not let the sinful things of this world lead you astray from God. God bless whoever reads this.

If it's a sin, then so is lying, holding grudges against each other, not loving your neighbor, gossiping, having lustful thoughts, using substances and becoming addicted, and judging people....all sins too. Sin is sin, and we will all keep sinning until the day we die. Embrace it, especially self-righteous people. It's not our job to decide which sin is the worst. And we shouldn't decide how others should live their lives. Live and let live. Only God can judge us. And I'm not implying that everyone should be accepting and supportive of the LGBTQ community... you don't have to like them but don't discriminate and be super hateful either. The Bible teaches us to love one another, not to discriminate and spread hatred towards people. If you can't do that, you're committing just as much of a sin as homosexuality. Sin is sin.

My dear Naga brothers and sisters, Christianity condemns homosexuality and that is all true on your part but you also need to understand you live in a democratic country. Everything is fine unless LGBTQ community has no problem with how we address their pronouns.Even before we Nagas had any idea about LGBTQ almost every naga village had guys with feminine characteristics and vice versa for girls so it's normal.

Being born and brought up Christan instead of encouraging and saying 'they should come closer to God and ask God to let them overcome the feelings of being gay or lesbian' if you say 'its their wish and their life' and support them knowing that its culturally and Biblically unacceptable....my dear brothers and sisters you're doomed and you're not so different from them....its a shame to your family and society and dishonouring the Almighty God😢.
