@@ashroman6163I’m pretty surprised to find this out too. And yeah, the show announcer and exit interviewer is Curt Chaplin. Buy boy, he’s really changed his tone (attitude) over the years. 😂
"If you're involved in a legal dispute with another party and you just can't seem to work it out. Don't take the law into your hands, you take them to court."
Yep Harvey Levin stayed on until the end. Doug Llewelyn came back in 2019 until the end. Before that it was Curt who also did what Doug did when Judge Wapner was on the bench.
I thought this was skit and avoided watching. When it kept coming up in my feed I decided to watch and to my surprise it's a real episode of vintage People's Court. I've been a fan since my childhood in the early 80's. 😊❤
@@larryleventhal4833well, Koch _was_ allegedly fond of the men. If that's true, he likely understood how to respectfully treat a drag queen. Then again, if he'd _failed_ to address a drag queen respectfully, he likely would have known the consequences could be dire.😅
You know what's really fascinating and still a little sad about this clip? Even though back then the LGBTQ community was nowhere near the acceptance we enjoy today, Koch and the plaintiff were still more polite than half the country is right now in how they used "she" when referring to Hedda. We really have started going backwards in terms of progress.
What do Republicans have to do with it. People just get tired of having to listen to the nonsense. Nobody cares or should be forced to care about another person's sexual preference. Let alone have to celebrate it for a month. It gets annoying
You're absolutely right with the Vida comment! It's true, Hedda had a very different aesthetic back then. I definitely prefer the red hair with orange accents over the green she's been wearing for years now (as if anybody wouldn't catch the joke in her name). I have to say she's more reminiscent of Charles Busch in her vocal delivery, though.
Wait... "Hedda Lettuce" is a real name??? What in the, time traveling from today; to then is going on here? With a name like that; what's your preference on identification? Bean Stalk? Smoke you a head of lettuce
Koch was the worst judge. This episode isn't court it's comedy. There's no way a real judge would allow a defendant and the witness under those names. Sad
First of all, it’s mediation. Second, in the mediation agreement, it would be plausible to have their legal name followed by “Henceforth known as” with their legal names used for the signatures.
My grandmother love Judge Wappner ...😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅 She would not answer her phone while this show was on....that and family fued with...the guy who kissed all the women...English....😮
