In this episode, Professor Karen Morrow and Dr Victoria Jenkins discuss global climate and environmental governance and what people and institutions can do to mitigate and adapt to the consequences of climate change.
Professor Morrow’s work looks at global climate governance and how to achieve truly sustainable inter-human and human-environment relationships in our now rapidly changing world through achieving effective representation of marginalised voices in climate law, policy and decision-making.
Dr Victoria Jenkins focuses on local and Welsh approaches to environmental governance in her work. Recently, she has been considering how to develop an effective governance system for sustainable peatland management which will be important for many countries, including Wales, in contributing to climate change goals.
