The dog one is believable, unfortunately kids used to throw rocks over the fence at my dog where we used to live. I didn't scream all sorts of crazy shit at them other than to fuck off though so I don't know how much I believe that second part.

Oh god, these mothers are sadly all too real. I know a real world example of a Mum who lost custody of her kids and since that happened she posts hyper-creepy stuff in this vein on social media. She likes to quote things her kids apparently said about how beautiful and strong she is, or how they've phoned her up just to say her love sustains them every day 🤮. Stuff that there's no way in hell a real 7 and 8 year old would ever say! When she writes greetings cards to people she always signs them as being from her "and the boys". This despite the fact she's only allowed to see them once a month and never without supervision.

@@nonverbal-turtle You and me both! Never did find out what it was she actually did to end up with them taken away. It's her own parents who now have custody and who refuse her access so...must have been something pretty yikes. So yeah, all she has now is the weird fan-fic she invents about them.

15 years or so ago, there used to be offers on for very cheap flights. Like £20/€25 ish. Usually jet2 or Ryanair or easyJet. Usually on the day or within a few days. Presumably to make up any empty seats? After highschool some people in my year booked flights for very cheap and went to Denmark? Or the Netherlands, I can’t remember. They had dinner and travelled back early the next morning. If you don’t pay for any luggage or choose seats, you used to be able to get random very cheap flights, so I believe it. Would be impossible now, mind you.

Even in the example you mentioned there are extra costs, like a night at the hotel. Did she also stay at a hotel and not mention it? She is not being completely honest. That is my opinion. 40 pounds for a pizza in the UK sounds high and 8 pounds in Italy sounds very low. But it made a good story. I remain skeptical. I am in Amsterdam myself and always end up paying more than 100 Euros to 300 Euros for flights to London. I never see these dirt cheap flights and I just cannot imagine you would get a return to Italy for 19 pounds. Less than 10 pounds each way. Plus think of all the travelling. One hour to the airport two hours before the flight. Three hour flight. One hour into town. Assuming you were lucky with your connections then you tavel one hour back to the airport two hours before your flight. Three hours back and the one hour home. That is 14 hours. Is one slice of pizza going to be enough for that? The fact that she couldn't just say she had pizza but it had to be 'the best in town' makes me believe it is embellished.

They’ve done this for a while know I’ve found it very useful for tutorials etc. They shouldn’t remove it. But one thing I’m glad they removed was AI overview cause someone can just copy and paste writing incriminating things and the ai will think it’s part of the video.
