This happened to my SO and I. We were laughing too. Our driveway is a steep incline and it was hard to get to the door but it was funny and we eventually made it. Except it was at night for us. 🤣

As I was watching I said to myself that looks like what my husband and I would be doing as well. I'm beyond happy that we live in a state that doesn't get any snow except every blue moon nor do we get icy roads and driveways. Ahhh, the awesome South East Georgia.

Vibram boots soles are much better than ordinary soles, we also have Ice FX boots, they work well . I bought a very warm pair of winter boots, the fabric lining it is made with real wool, I never have cold feet but they are so slippery that I have to wear them with ice cleats. Slipping on ice is no joke especially when getting older, it is not worth it to fracture a bone.@@gregorsailejj

Or pull a sock on the top of your shoes and you can walk on ice no problem.

They start out on the top of the mountain and race downhill to the town. The snow and ice are just a tiny part of it. They race thru forests and streets to get to the finish line. Kilian Bron has his own YT channel where he rides with a GoPro strapped to his helmet. If you don't have motion sickness they're crazy to watch. It amazes me how they can ride single file in some of the tighter trails and then pass each other while doing so.

Have seen original video (10?) years ago. It was very long. At the end the girl went on all fours. There were more people falling and 1 man also moving on all fours🤣

Unfortunately not everyone has newer cars with a remote start feature. I have it on my 2021 Subaru, but my friend doesn't on her 2013 Camry. She grumbles and snarls when she's out there clearing her car off just to be able to get inside and start it and I'm down at the other end of my house tucked up warm and cozy in my bedroom and my car starts up without me having to step one foot out the door.😂 My only request for future cars is automatic snow removal. That would be so nice on cold winter mornings when I'm facing the daunting task of pushing 15" of fresh snow off the top of my car so I can drive out over it.

Yep, I have one too, here in Finland we really need them 😅 The sidewalks have nothing but ice and the Ice Bugs - shoes also slide, so I don`t know what to do anymore 😂😂 Last couple of weeks have been REALLY icy, so i guess that I just have to wait it to melt haha

Some of them lived in areas where they've never had to deal with ice. My friend in Texas called me for advice when her town started to freeze when the frigid weather was racing towards them. I made sure she knew how to drip her faucets, seal any cracks around her doors and windows, told her what kind of non-electric heater to buy so she stayed warm when the power failed, double or triple cover every window, nail a thick blanket across both of her doors, pile as many blankets and sheets near her bed so the colder it got, the warmer she could stay. And go nowhere unless it was absolutely necessary. I also told her to stockpile table salt. If she had to go outside to take the salt with her and pour it out infront of her as she walked. While it's not standard ice-melt, that's sold in places that always get ice and snow, it will do in a pinch for a short time. She made it thru with one burst pipe because she forgot about her outside hose bib and it froze. Other people around her weren't as lucky and wound up with tens of thousands of dollars in damages to their homes, cars, and properties mainly from pipes that froze and burst and dead batteries in their cars due to the extremely frigid temps. I grew up in L.A. and moved to Utah in 2000. I had no idea that there was special salt that's used as ice and snow melt. I always thought table salt was what they used, but nope, I was wrong. Also, ice melt has to be continually sprinkled on the ice to keep it from re-forming. The salt only works for a limited amount of time until it's diluted enough that it becomes useless. Once that happens we have to go out and put more down. It's why snowplows have to continuously drive along highly traveled roads. Cars drive thru the icy slush and dilute it. If it's below freezing the ice will start to form again and cars begin to lose traction. The plows are lifesavers up here when we get 3-4 day long storms. Many of the plow drivers work non-stop for 14-18 hours just to keep our roads from icing over. I'd rather drive 30mph behind a plow and be safe than 35 mph infront of one and spin out of control on the ice!
