I can't stand people like this, it's not even just anime. Anything that gains some popularity they come in claiming that not only do they not like it (because they are so unique and different) but act like it's objectively the WORST in it's category
No, tbh AoT is pretty terrible. It only gained popularity because of how graphically violent it was back in 2013 or so (even then future diary was a thing which is a far better anime).

I am this guy : ) But i am critical about anime because i hate so see when the writing truns bad or lazy. I also prefer little gems over mainstream animes because too many times the hype is undeserved in my opinion. The longest anime i watched was probably the original "Legend of the Galactic Heroes", but Griffy is really teasing One Piece so much that i should start to watch it again for the 3rd time and this time i should pass the first 3 episodes XD

honestly, as much as i like OP ever since it was my childhood show. almost every arc has the same ass plot. a fucking Kingdom/country (about to) overruled by Pirates and get beaten up by the strawhats? jesus christ, it's the same thing over and over again, too repetitive. -Cocoyashi Village -Syrup Village -Drum Island -Alabasta -Skypiea -Thriller Bark -Fishman Island -Dressrosa -Wano Country well, outside of that; it's still one of the greatest anime of all time, no cap. but Oda really seemed to repeat those plot over and over again

Used to see what other people thought on MAL when I first got into anime until I realized people will literally give a series 2/10 for a character’s hair being too spiky. Reviews are usually pseudo-intellectual and horribly biased. That’s why you just have to watch and form your own opinion. I’d rather just not discuss the series and enjoy it than have others ruin it for me.

I guess if it is hating deku then it makes sense. When the mc is the worst part of the series there is going to be issues. But shyy rock where did he go? What true tragedy. To be fair most of them are kinda bad. Like the ones made by studio Pierrot are pretty low effort except for when they decide to start animating well once every 60 episodes. Stuff like Jujutsu kaisen and demon slayer are top tier tho
I could get my friends into Berserk, but not Naruto. One friend refused to watch it because Naruto farts in one episode... No amount of explaining that the show had depth would work.
