The Joanna case honestly freaked me out, they PRETENDED to be her, straight up had her other family and friends thinking she was sitting at home enjoying life but in reality she was laying on top of a septic tank rotting away.
Yes it was a shock here in the philippines at the time it was televised. Joanna received major bash on facebook back then. People can't believe someone can do that.
The first one is sketchy as hell. The missing man’s body was found months later on the family property in a perfectly visible area of a building they used for months and no one noticed either him or the smell that made neighbors concerned? Something’s getting covered up....
Police saying it’s too early to call in a missing person? It’s never too early. Contrary to belief, you don’t need to wait hours from when someone goes missing - the instant you even get a feeling that something is off, you can and should file a missing person report.
I wanted to report missing. I was told it needs 24h from last seeing (lack of contact in between ) or 48h if there were any contact. Poland is weird country
hooo boy. In my country you can report all you want but they won't do sh-t until it's been at least 48 hours. And yes, for children too. Police will try their darnedest to blame the missing person or dismiss the case.
There is one case I remember where a woman went missing on her way home from work, 8 days later she was found trapped in her car, suspended by her seatbelt in a ravine. Her car was on its side and they had to cut the roof off her car to get her out. She miraculously lived the 8 days trapped and injured and ended up making a full recovery. It's so shocking what the human body can withstand sometimes.
It is beyond incredible that Anton walked/hitchhiked from Canada, through the U.S, South and Central America and the Amazon Jungle without I.D. Anton has great potential to do anything he wants seemingly effortlessly. I hope you find peace in your heart and mind Anton. You are a super star.
I cannot even believe about this last case! Anton was in my hometown, Porto Velho, living as a homeless. I tried to talk to him 4 times in english but he was just a confuse and angry man. We start to search out what could happened to him and called the police. He was found already in the state of Amazonas by the police and I've never heard about him again. I'm happy this was a good final history.
Poor Maria :( all she did was ask a worthless man to try finding a job and he killed her?? even after providing everything for them. and her own daughter helped. The entire thing is so sad and disgusting. I hope she's at peace.
Yooo that second story is insane! How did she survive that!!! And managed to crawl out of the car with all those injuries?! And the chance of some random couple hiking on an inaccessible part of the beach
First story, police are for sure covering up for how he actually died or are just really incompetent . No way he committed suicide, his foot, head & teeth somehow all detached when he supposedly hanged himself? I hope the case gets eventually re-opened, he was %100 murdered.
This is HANDS DOWN the best channel ! No bullshit for views, clear and nice voice and story. The research and script is insane. You can see lutch truly love this type of stories
Do you know anything about how he is doing now, or if his schizophrenia got under control? I couldn't find information online, but I feel like I'm looking in the wrong places
Definitely. One thing is to think quick enough about the escape from the vehicle, another is to muster the sheer willpower to do it. Sure, she was probably pumped full of Adrenaline, but adrenaline isn't a total painkiller. It can remove most pain for the duration of it, but Angela would definitely still have felt the pain of getting out the vehicle. And the sheer toughness of her willpower to do so is evident in her passing out afterwards. That's one tough woman!
Dude managed to get through the canadian/US border, through all those states, through the south american border, only to be turned away from a LIBRARY for not having ID. wow.
These blew my mind, especially Angela's story. So glad she was found and is safe back with her family but omg how that woman had a will to survive with the injuries she suffered shows how strong of a women she is. Maria, poor women killed by the people she trusted the most, her own daughter and her partner.
The second one baffles me, like your mom leaves to a foreign country/city and she keeps on texting you but never ever calls and it doesn't raise a slightest concern for months?????
Because here in the Philippines texting is heavily preferred over calling so it would seem normal if you communicate with someone for months using only text messages.
I think Anton's story just highlights how invisible the homeless and mentally ill are to people in society. People deliberately look away from homeless people, they do their best to avoid making eye contact, no one wants to face the dark side of our society. They don't want to feel guilty when they go home and make unneeded online purchases from their favourite dystopian corporation. I'm not at all surprised he made it that far south, he never would've made it out of the Americas, but he could've gone anywhere. The only people who noticed him would've been the few who bought him food or gave him clothes and money and the few who couldn't bear to leave someone looking so desperate on the side of the road. Had that cop in Brazil ignored him too, I think odds are he'd only receive police attention if he went somewhere there was a bolo on a guy who matched his physical description, it would've taken awhile for another person to actually sacrifice their time and energy on helping him.
Although ignoring homeless & mentally I’ll has a lot to due with inner guilt, I think at has more to do with enabling. A lot of people have learned the social behavior of “don’t talk or make eye contact” because once you do they see you are willing to interact and try to utilize that for money or bizarre mental health reasons. This is what has consistently come up in conversations about this topic with widely varying people. I literally experienced this not more than 4-5hr ago. A mentally ill man was projecting himself thru a puppet, yelling random things, I ignored him not wanting to be a target, he was looking for anyone to talk to. He told me Angela (the puppet) needed a lighter, and she knows I have one. I barely spoke but the more I did the more he talked about how Angela did all his crack and wanted to vape. I was working so I just closed my car door and he quickly turned his attention to other people, subsequently ignoring his banter. Reading it sounds so bizarre I almost made it up, but I was able to get a short video before pulling away. I felt bad, sure, but not because of my difference in class but because I could see he definitely needed help he probably can’t receive.
@@PyroFilmsFX Guilt has nothing to do with your perceived division of class between you and the mentally ill homeless man you encountered. It's weird to me that you even went there, like telling people you think you're in a higher class of society than someone who's deeply ill in a society that prefers to think of him as a nuisance and demands payment for care, is not something I'd advise but at least it's upfront. I guess. In order to enable someone, you first need to be in a position to influence their lives, because you'd need to be familiar with this person and their negative behaviours and then assist them - passively or actively - in indulging in those negative behaviours. That's not at all what society is doing with the mentally ill and homeless. Enabling? How does installing metal spikes where homeless people sleep enabling? How is making vagrancy and squatting criminal offences enabling? How is making mental health care a cash business along with medical care enabling? Having the highest prescription drug prices in the Western world? Enabling? That's deprivation. Quiet attempts to profit off the suffering of others is literally the definition of capitalism and the US brand of "free market capitalism" is why no one in the US can afford to get sufficient mental health care to become functional in society. Capitalist society is a me game, people look out for #1, evidenced by you closing the door in the face of a severely mentally ill man who is suffering so profoundly from his illness that he is completely incapable of controlling himself and his life and sleeps on the streets. That's what people do. They tune it out and continue on their selfish way. Because who helped you, right? Why should anyone else get help? No one helped you. But you know what people who aren't frigid, nihilistic, and incapable of higher functions of human emotion do sometimes? Sometimes they do make eye contact, or see some act of desperation, some cruel truth of severe mental illness, or witness some heartbreaking event. And they feel guilty. They feel guilty for not doing anything to help people. They feel a sense of injustice that such a wealthy country can permit such suffering and leave people who so clearly need some help to drown in their trauma and illness. The fact that you have never experienced that does not negate the fact that most people do. I question why you're unable to feel any compassion or empathy at all, your reply made that clear, you should maybe figure that out.
The problem is that it's impossible to tell who's legitimately homeless and needs real help and who's just a leach on society by choice. I've worked extremely hard all my life and feel I have earned the right to waste my hard earned money buying Chinese crap on Amazon if I want to.
Incredible ...I never heard the story of Anton before and the intersection where he lived in Toronto (Scarb) is right by me. I'm so glad he was found and is back with his brother.
Jesus. The psychological impact of being able to see cars and civilization whilst realizing they can't see or help you...Angela is just tough as nails. What a crazy survival story. Incredible.
Holy crap. I've driven along that section of highway 1, I slept in Big Sur. I can imagine how quick and easy it was to go flying over the edge of a cliff. And how NOT quick and easy her rescue was. It takes serious guts, brains, and resolve to make it a week in a situation like that. Go Angela.
Really?!! lol. So brave and strong yet would of gave up and died because she couldnt scale a hill. Why would you drive off a cliff just to avoid hitting a small animal, women are strange.
What if Mateuszs' parents are involved? I have been so curious about this case for a long time and it is the first time I have thought maybe his family is involved.
They probably wouldn't have allowed the neighbor to check their barn if they'd killed him and left him there. Also, why would they leave his body there in the first place? It looks pretty clearly like he did himself. Bodies fall apart after death; the circle of life and all that. Although the teeth being knocked out is strange.
@@kingayy9267 yeah, why would anyone knock out their teeth before suicide...? Also, why did he lie about travelling to his gf? Whom did he stay with in the hotel? Why didn't police pay attention to this case? This case is driving me insane... I wish someone would solve this soon.
Why would #4 go throught all this to finally come back home to suicide? Freakin weird story. Also neightbor smeling a bad odor but not the family while litteraly working in the barn? I feel like they are implicated
It's easy to become used to a smell if you're around it all the time. Like cigarette smokers who can't smell the stake smoke on their belongings/in their home (if they smoke inside).
@@kingayy9267 pretty sure human decomposition is not a smell one can be used to or minimum desensitized to it. Even homicide detectives and coroners have said it is a smell you can never get used to. I have never smelled it, but from what people say, it is absolutely horrendous and overwhelming. I do understand the thought though because I am a smoker and I agree that as a smoker I can no longer smell cigarette smoke.
If they were involved I don't think they would have gone through all the trouble to get the police to do anything/ put the media spot light on this case. Most likely the body was moved there afterwards from somewhere else
I remember hearing the story before on another channel but thank you for adding more details to it at the end I never heard that he lied about where he was You are awesome
I'm actually from the same city of the victim Maria. It was an awful story and i felt really bad for her and the brother. It was a big story online in our city at that time. Bless maria's soul.
I find it hard to be a suicide when his car was taken. They never said if it was a male or female he was seen with checking into the hotel so either he has a another girlfriend or boyfriend and doesn't want to be a father and the 2 made a suicide pact "maybe why their was 2 nooses found but only 1used" and the other person freaked out after seeing what he went thru so they took off in his car.The key is to find his BMW.I thought BMW's use a GPS locator on models for theft deterrents?
There has to be another person involved.. maybe his family was involved but the theory of a suicide pact was my first thought when it was recently discovered he had met another person at a hotel and lied about his where about. I am sure the police know at least the gender of the person. IDK why they would lie though.
Not that hard to ditch a car. Just leave it somewhere with the keys in it and it will take care of itself. If i'm not mistaken they said he took a train or a bus back to the point where he could walk back home. You would think...if he was going to kill himself why would he do it at home where his parents would find him. My dad killed himself in his marital bed and pretty much knew my mom would find him. Suicidal people don't think straight
@@Kittie28 I get its easy to ditch a car and suicidal people dont think straight.I know this when I was kid my mother took a gun to her head in our attic cause she knew no one has been in the attic for years.Didnt even find her for almost a month and like this case it was cause of the smell that we found her.She didnt want to be found. You either just want to disappear and dont want to put your family thru the heartache or u want to be in full found view cause you want your family to see what u did and dont care how traumatic it is to them but if your going to kill yourself why meet up with someone else spend the night with them take a train to Frankfurtdoder walk across the bridge to the town of Sloreez check in with the individual "who for some reason they cant find out if it was a male or female like CCTV wasn't all over Germany and Poland back then". He literally walked to another town probably with that person as well if they went straight to the hotel there. Then a train to Warsaw then the bus to Zamusk arrived at midnight which is the town by his parents house then walked 21km which is 13miles give or take 1 way.Stopped at the store in between all that got some cigarettes and Orange Juice "which he doesnt drink" then made 2 nooses why would u need 2 nooses for 1 person? Then when found his body was in full decomp.which takes about about a month maybe less depending on ambient temp. The body weight pulls apart from the head but why was his foot amputated off? or why where his teeth knocked out? Your saying "suicidal people dont think straight"but this guy did a whole lot of decisive thinking during those 2 days.It wouldn't be hard for a guy or a couple guys hold him at gun point beating him up maybe the guy knocks out some of his teeth then makes him put the noose around his head at gun point maybe let him know they're serious by cutting off his foot "cause feet dont just fall off even on decomp. bodies it takes some force obviously not as much as live tissue but still" and I dont know if you've ever knocked out someone's teeth before but they bleed all over the front of their clothes kind of like the blood stains they said he had, which wouldnt make sense if it was blood from the head pulling apart because the blood would be in a coagulation state and wouldn't have the same consistency to soak into clothes with being dead for a month or less or more when the body separated. Its not like they would ever be able to see ligature marks if he was tied up with the state of decomp his body was in when found and all they would have to do is cut the zip ties or rope off after it was all done and u got a suicide.Like it said they didnt want to go thru all the hay his body was in.Maybe the car was taken as compensation. All of this Hypothetically speaking of course.Im just saying for a suicidal person who doesnt think in their right mind this guy did a lot of planning thinking and navigating all to end up killing himself at his parents house. Why wouldn't u leave a note or at least leave your car so your parents can find it and have it.I seen a story just like this one in the U.K. some years ago a guy met up with girl he was talking to on the interweb met after a month of chatting and it was all a setup 2 guys robbed him took what cash he had on him"cause taking credit cards is just asking to be busted" took his car and had the guy put the gun to his head and pull the trigger. The only reason they caight onto it was because the G.S.R.test came back with little to none on the guys hand because it was all over the other guys hand that was holding onto the gun over the victims hand. Too many unanswered questions with no logical explanation to why he did that or why he was found like that.
I knew something was up with Maria’s story. Singapore is the safest place in the world due to its strict laws. You can walk down the street in the middle of the city at 3am without worrying about getting mugged.
This isn't really important, but just so you know, "sz" in Polish makes an "sh" sound, and because Polish doesn't have the letter "v" in their alphabet, "w" is always pronounced as a "v". So a Polish friend of mine's older brother is named Wojtek, and that is pronounced Voytek. So "Mateusz Kawecki" is pronounced "Mattay-oosh Kav-ecki". Polish is super hard but the consistency of the language is so reliable that you can always read a w as a v and it'll be correct, which is more than what can be said about English lol.
@@cademancaden In what language? As far as I know, sz in Polish is always a voiceless retroflex fricative sound that we can only write in English as "sh" though it's not an identical representation of the sound. I just went to double check and I saw nothing about Polish sz having a vowel sound at the beginning. If anything, it's closer to "shah" than "sh", but never "ees". Maybe you're thinking of Romanian or Hungarian? I don't think so, but I'm not sure what language does that. Can you post a link to anywhere online that says "sz" can sound like "ees" in Polish?
@@lilithiaabendstern6303 In Polish, it's called Szczecin, which is pronounced Sh-chez-in. I know Stettin is easier and it's generally accepted, just like everyone says "War-saw" but in Polish, it's Warszawa. Which is read "Var-sha-va". Like I said, it is a consistent language.
The first one kinda makes me skeptical... The parents don’t seem sad in this they just seem “confused” on how they ended up there. Now I’m not necessarily saying they did it, but I think they did it 😂
Parents did it, maybe other family is involved but probably not the sister who accused them of not investigating properly. Guessing in a small village, the police probably know the parents and helped cover it up.
1st one is suspicious as hell. I feel bad for the family and their frustration with dealing with the German police. At least the polish police tried somewhat....
Lutch is like that one student who does very good at every subject. Everyone refer to her for help, and when she do presentation, people pay attention because they know her work is good.
Hi Lutch Green your finally back. Nice to see your channel back again, even if it might be for a bit. I have Loved your content for years and it's very interesting since I am into the dark, weird and strange things earth provides to us. Keep up the good work my friend.
I'm Amazed Anton didn't die in the Amazon. It is some really rugged and dangerous terrain with very thick vegatation, deadly wildlife, and swamps and rivers. Wow!
Right here I definitely miss her upload I told her once before personally that she has one of the best and most intriguing voices to do these things that I've ever heard that's why she keeps me so engaged
Thanks for sharing these! The switching of tenses willy nilly was a bit distracting but the cases were interesting. What a fighter Angela is to have survived so long!
Started watching all the videos on this channel yesterday I thought it was an old channel glad to see you post again will definitely subscribe since you actually post
That last story is oddly hilarious, imagine setting out to hike to a international library like 7 countries away and you get there and you tell you can't go in because you don't have your ID lmao
Can you make a video on Junko Furuta case . I know video will get age restricted but it's the only thing we can do for her poor soul, spreading her story to the world. (I don't want this but I have to do this ) It's the most disturbing case I've ever came across , but sadly there a very few videos about it.
@@Revanchist2 The thing is that here they rarely do proper investigations, some cases are never solved and it is really really rare for them to report anything on the media Like my teacher was killed by his son, he was on some drugs and split her head with an axe then jumped out of the building, the only reason i know this is because I live near and asked some people why there were so many people here; since then I cant find any news or published papers about the case Or remember the 3 guys 1 hammer case, that could have been prevented but again they dont give a shit here
@@harmionaniki As I said, police sucks ass everywhere and there are certainly hundreds if not thousand of cases that maybe only "local" people are aware about but does not mean that they will be covered or solved unfortunately
Hey 👋 I just found your"channel"; was saddened by the last public comment. But here another was posted 17 minutes ago 😁. Love it- please continue, avid follower in one night 💕
I had originally assumed "found later" meant they'd been found alive but after the first story, I realized I was wrong and figured it would be the opposite and they'd all been found dead; I definitely was not expecting the second story to have such a happy ending, that's for sure.
