I think this rolling contract idea is a great one. Pep's an ambitious guy, he doesn't want to be tied down & he's given City so much. Also, it would be bad optics if Txiki & Pep left after next season, as that's when the punishment for 115 is due to be announced
I'd pay good money to just wake up one morning to see the news that Pep have extended. He's the most important signing we can make. If everyone knew Pep was staying we would have a huge pull in the transkermarket. We could focus on developing the young players and hopefully some new signings, so we can continue to challenge for everything. Its ideal and I hope Pep wants to help and leave us in the best shape possible - and we're not ready yet. We need Pep tbh.
