@@sk_7460Really? Where in WV? Perhaps there’s more variation than I thought. WV pepperoni rolls typically look just like a bread roll. The pepperoni (and sauce and cheese if you want) are completely tucked inside the roll. That’s what I think the comment is referring to. These looks delicious though.
Pardon my begging, but I find both pepperoni and mozzarella to be FLAVOR FREE. Same with avocado. Can someone tell me what pepperoni is supposed to taste like? Please!
@@frankschwartz7405 you’ve probably eaten the turkey-pepperoni, that’s used in most franchise and non-Italian owned (mostly kabab) shops because they don’t use pork, for more inclusivity, I hate the turkey stuff it’s revolting, real Italian pepperoni (or german) is so flavoursome. I’ve eaten pepperoni and it’s even tasted like liquorice (in a nice way)
Looks like maybe you graduated from South Charleston HS in 1977 so that makes you about 2 years older than me. :-) While they're not true pepperoni rolls I think they would be something nice for me to take to the neighborhood bar and share with as many friends as possible; kinda like little tasters!
I was born and raised on the island of Sicily off the coast of Italy. My people suffered when they forced us to join the mainland to unify into one country, we were forced to speak Italian. I can vouch, the rolls in this video are authentic how we make them in Sicily, but we call them by a different name. Felice Anno Nuovo!
