Chickens *definitely* fly when they want to. Speaking as somebody that had to catch runaway chickens fairly regularly. We only stopped escapes by literally covering their run with netting

So... Dani double smokes her enemy. Tells them, you die when I tell you to die and brings them back to life with just enough awareness of itself to truly fear death. Keeps it under her boot full on Roy Mustang vs Envy style with a flaming boot on it, as well as a gun trained on it. And then finishes it off when she gets what she wants with a one liner. There's only one response to this. "Yes Captain."

Also, it's okay, Red. I've been there a loooootttt with the bad nights for dice rolling. I once spent a whole fight consistently hitting, and with one exception rolled minimum damage.

I had one session where I kept either missing or the enemies kept making the saving throws, and it got so bad that my DM used my character's Patron to help me out multiple times, including giving me a whole second action mid-fight. It do be like that sometimes.

had to come back to transcribe the mechanics to steal and use in my own campaign. when my player are gonna jounery to the center of the land to 'deal with' the source of Negative energy that's corrupting the land i was going to have them journey through a number of the negatively aligned planes that are leading into each other before getting to the eye of the storm as it were. while i wouldn't call Chult negatively aligned (at least to my knowledge) this is too amazing as a character beat mechanic to pass up. Austin you are a mad genius and i love your craft.
