When discussing translation of per unit impedance from one base to another. Could clarify a lot by stating Actual impedance does not change regardless of base system

Correct me if wrong- 4kW @0.8pf lag is wrong statement . Correct statement - Load 4kVA@0.8laf :-). many thanks

Sir at 29:29 for percentage losses you’ve to multiply by 100 because you said percentage

Hello sir, In starting of lecture you define per unit as any quantity's value in out of one is per unit but in your starting examples your per unit values exceeds their maximum value i.e. 1! How's this possible?

Thank you Pradeep for your videos. Are there copyright restrictions on their re-use, say to facillitate an online course?

Isn't it wrong to cancel kVA & KW @ 18:09 and before that, I mean how can we cancel out apparent power and real power without knowing if ckt is AC or DC? I really don't get it how kW and kVA cancellation is taking place. Sir, please explain.

@@aks5436 (1/6)^2 is a^2......a=turns ratio. To move impedence from the secondary side to the primary side we multiply the impedence on the secondary side by the turns ratio squared

I’m a little bit confused.. are you solving for single phase or three phase ? Because as i know the apparent power of 3phase = sqrt(3)*|V|*|I|
@pradeepyemula6015
@pradeepyemula6015 5 лет назад
BTSaddicted this calculation is for 1 phase
@pradeepyemula6015
@pradeepyemula6015 5 лет назад
I have made a separate video on how to work with per unit system with 3phase. Please search later videos in this playlist.
