@@winheiMR I agree with the price for new ones. But so far I haven't experienced any hate or bully. Just friendly laughing and a lot of questions when they see me driving. 😀
@@nonegone7170 that is the problem and also some feel they could be less safe than normal bikes. Not sure that's the case. Not having to wear a helmet is a big bonus especially in hot weather
This is a future, I guess. It's not just a toy like many exotic devices are. It's a real next level design of utility, safety, appearance and comfortability.
Absolutely amazing machine ! Excellent video! I’ve been following the development and progress of Arnold Wagner’s design since the early 1990’s. Back then, the “Ecomobile” had a BMW K100 engine, I imagine the Peraves Monotracer has a significantly more powerful engine by now! Can’t wait to own & drive one in the future! - Eliot Willauer, Maine, USA.
Thanks! It really is a fun machine to drive. You can contact www.youtube.com/@JimmyLorimer about MT/MTE regulation situation is US but as far as I know you won't get very good news I'm afraid...
Thank you for the info ! I’ve been in touch with Jimmy for a few years now, he’s has been providing status updates on US regulations for the Monotracer. Hopefully US regulations will loosen in the coming years! I would love to own and drive one everyday as a regular commuter vehicle on the East Coast! Best wishes and thanks for posting the driving video!
The beginning may be difficult because it's quite unique vehicle. That's why you can't drive it without proper training. Once you learn to drive it, it's only fun. 🙂 But you have to plan your actions ever earlier that with a normal motorcycle.
I think I heard a little "Hey Tonight" by J.F., coming from the MT in Helsinki. I would settle for importing parts to build one here in the States. Been a fan since the late 80's. I remember see a video of an EcoMobile crashing during a development test at 180kph IIRC, where the driver walked away without serious injuries after rolling half a dozen time. Wish I could find that video again, it's worth a watch.
I have "crashed" once, at a walking speed. So far this is the only crash video I've seen: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-es0y0y4cIrg.htmlsi=i9ckUohRDUFtoZRS If you know more, please feel free to inform me.
@@monotracerfinland Woo-Hoo, thanks for the reply. I don't get many replies. Anyway the video that I recall was of an EcoMobile on a track doing testing, the test driver of the bike was coming toward the camera and a corner on the track, left turn(iirc), and appeared to high side during the turn causing the bike to roll multiple times. This may have been during early design testing TUV approval or... I'm guessing this was a factory test probably monitored by Arnold Wagner. I was sold when the driver had few if any injuries from the accident. Mid 80's most likely, I think I saw the video in the 90's though. Also, maybe post this on some groups that I don't have connections to join, would love to pick up an ECO or MT without powertrain, for experimental purpose's. Last I recall, the only way to bring them stateside is as a self assembled experimental vehicle. I would love to join any English speaking groups to connect with other people like myself that have only been able to follow the Eco/MT from over seas.
This is a bike for those who want more weather and fall protection, I really like it. But I would prefer to use a gyro stabilizer instead of the wheels that are being produced.
I don't know why but i think it feels scary. Imagine you are one a bike but doesn't have control if the lean because ordinary bike you can freely move your leg
It may look like that but if you think about leaning a curve with an ordinary mc, you don't put your legs down at speed, do you? But I know this looks odd. 😊
