These containers have been on my mind for a while now. They just don't fit the space where I placed them. So after some planning, I decided to create some perennial containers for the fall. Fall garden planting is one of my favorite parts of gardening. And planting fall containers is so much fun!

The labor of installing and removing annuals is a real cost according to anyone who has done cost accounting. Government and commercial entities price in the cost of installation and maintenance for landscaping projects. Home gardeners can too.

Love the grasses and sedum in the containers, they look beautiful! I have sedums in containers around our pool. They stay in year round and keep coming back year after year along with hostas in other containers.

Sedums around a pool is a good call since they love the sun!

They look great! I’m excited for the next videos about splitting and moving perennials. I have several I need to do but have never done it before and I’m a little nervous. I always love the way you explained things. 💜

Looks much better. Love the grasses. My lantanas are also huge and gorgeous in a hot, humid area and the deer and rabbits don't touch them.

Lantana plants are very easy to root. Clip new grown with plenty joints, dig n plant. Zone 8b they are like weeds in our area.

Maybe move the one on the left forwards - infront of the tree until you are able to prune it back - they are too pretty to hide.

Fab containers, hope the sedum are cool, nice combination. Btw, do you have hairstyling in your background?? The way you handled the grass + carex...

Maybe put the darker grasses in the ground because their hardiness zone 7, I have tried different ones like those, penstonmans for the last 2years, and I have none can’t ever find them until this time of year. They like to be planted in the spring, so I don’t understand why they are for sale in spring, maybe if you place in the ground they will come back. Good luck 🎉

I’ll be planting my daffodils in October and November. Lantana can be finicky for me … some times it comes back and sometimes our winter is too cold and it dies.

So happy for you that the heat has finally broken!!! I personally am too cheap to pay $50 to hide a plant stand behind bushes!

Plant stands seems to be crazy prices, don’t they? I was thrilled with the clearance price 😂
