It really worked and it's a very direct way to learn to equalize. I could make a noise pack for bigroom, trance or different styles of music and instruments, without hesitation I would buy it and I think the rest of the people here would too.
Get MFreeformEqualizer - it's a match eq that can instantly analyze your vocal and match it to the reference noise. Even in demo mode you can export the Impulse Response of the eq curve, load it up into a convolver, and you have precise correction for the vocal. Just remember to add smoothing and enable minimum phase so it doesn't kill your harmonics and introduce latency.
5:30 that's the reason why i do not use it. But, it is a really good starting point. we can also use other noise for mixing and mastering balancing if we want to. Great Video, even though I didn't learn anything new 😄
Max is back stronger than ever. I have the Spirits Vocal Mixing Presets and they are really good, you save a lot of time. In my case I set one preset and then I add or delete plugins to reach the perfect vocal sound for my song. With the tip in this video and the one in the "How to Fit Vocals PERFECTLY in Mix" video (which I use in all my songs), you can reach top tier quality sound without an expensive studio.
I use audiolens in Neutron 4. Record an acapella in Audiolens. And use that as a reference in Neutron 4. But it also depends on your music. If your music sounds dull...or too bright and the vocals don't match...you also have a problem there. It all has to fit together. In de pre-mastering stage,I fix it all.
So when I use the meters for SPAN why are my vocals so low?? Yours in the video are high mine are low regardless of the levels being at -18 through -12 range
I'm doing something wrong because in span it only shows me input roating 1L and 2R, that's all, and in the settings and processing tab, I only have one output
