I used to live a few minutes walk from the MCG and they used to open the gates at three quarter time for AFL matches and near the last few songs of a concert. Seeing the Rolling Stones, U2 and other bands were often weekly experiences.
Nice one. Melbourne's got it sorted with getting huge numbers to and from the sports and entertainment precincts - had plenty of practice. The mixture of plublic transport and then walking just flows.
