The best part of the villains in this drama is she is pure evil. She become evil not because of back story or become evil to take a revenge or something. She just pure evil.. hahaha. Usually some kdrama the villain character become evil because some reason but park yeon jin character is very pure evil.
I wouldn't say pure evil. She was influenced by her environment. Her mother always save her in whatever she do wrong. She is not making her experience any consequence for the evil thing she does which a parent should do to discipline their offspring. Her mother is even tolerating what she did, doing, or even planning to do (saying that Yeonjin should've just k*lled Dongeun in the first place so she is not a problem to any of them).

Since Yeo-Jung couldn't get a job as a doctor at his prison because he was related to a victim of his Dong-Eun found out what prison he would get moved to if something happened. Then Yeo-Jung got a job at that prison and just had to wait until he was moved to him and he comes there injured too.

as a husband stan, it def was not like that the first time for me either. I just could not read that man at all and I somewhat assumed he was going to take on that typical role that we see in dramas of the relentless force at his wife's side staying there till the bitter end, but no. As it went on, it showed how calculated and patient he was to play the long con purely for the sake of his daughter and I love and respect that man and his character for it. I love the small poke about mid-way when he said he wasn't going to leave his wife that kind of had me falling to the "I hate this guy" side of the fence before I realized why he was going it. they didn't make him blindly fight and defend his wife, but also didn't make the immediate move to distance himself because of the unfortunate situation with custody. he had to wait until he beyond a shadow of a doubt was able to gain full custody of his daughter and you could start seeing it eat away at him the longer he forced himself to stay that woman's husband and I just personally love the way he was written to convey all of that and a bag of chips. I think it's a healthy representation of most modern relationships where you can love a person till the end of the earth, but you gotta have boundaries on how far you will go for them because it is unhealthy to just fight so blindly in such a situation as that character found himself in.
Honestly TOP TIER kdrama and also amazing romance. Would you believe that the only crticism I have seen about this kdrama is how the romance was unnecessary? I swear I don't get it, nothing about the romance was unncessary it was perfect! They are so good for each other and I was so happy we had that arc. So it was nice to rewatch with someone who appreciated both the plot and the romance! And thank god this drama didn't fumble when it came to the resolution and we had a good villain ending instead of taking the moral high ground! Amazing reactions as always Caitlin! (Also I know you have so many shows to react too and you have a big list but please add Marry My Husband to a list somewhere? No joke, the plot is different but that is my 2nd favourite revenge satisfying drama after The Glory)
Since you've finished The Glory now I wanna recommend one of my top, maybe even my no.1 favorite drama series 'Flower of Evil'. Not gonna give any spoilers but it's a something like a psychological thriller/romance/crime/melodrama with mystery and suspense and sweetness and romance in perfect dose and mix. It's a great story from the beginning and lots of why's from the start that don't connect until later and it has everything, well written characters and great well written story that unravels more throughout the series. In perfect pace you'll find out more and more and how things connect etc and you'll get served the whole register of emotions and the best OST. It's not too dark or sad or hard to follow but still intricate and it will fully have your heart and soul. It's really well written and beautiful and suspenseful and the actors are all great. I think you'd really like it too. I will definitely rewatch through your reactions if you react to it. And I'll say it again, the OST is so good that I'm still listening to it. (I copy pasted this comment and don't mean to be repetitive but I left it under an earlier reaction but don't know if you saw it)
I think when you uploaded EP1 I commented how this show is poetic justice and you just said the same thing now. It's so beautifully written, acted out, and shot. Dark stuff like this happens in the real world and I'm glad they didn't hesitate to show what humans can be capable of. I think all of us could relate to some parts of this show

In the last scene of this episode when you say the rain is coming (the sky is cloudy and cover our main characters) it's actually a methapor for God closing his eyes to her revenge. You might remember in the early episode (eps 2 I guess) when Moon DongEun say God is never taking her side. Well He actually taking her side. God "let" her do the revenge, and in last eps when she want to get revenge with our boy, God once again "close his eyes" and let them do the revenge🤯 This metaphor still shook me till this day😅 this drama is well written

First of all, thank you Caitlin for the amazing reaction. Even through the highlights, I really enjoyed re-watching the drama with you. There were moments which I missed on my 1st watch but catched up here because of you so that was a plus. This drama is truly a masterpiece in terms of writing, direction, acting. It still pains me to know most of it is based on true story & there are many people who are still facing the same horrific things, but I hope like this drama, they'll get justice in some form or the other.

Got the finale on my birthday letsss gooooo🎉😭💙 Lee Do Hyun is currently one of my favourite Korean actors and all tho he did great in this kdrama I don't think it shows his capabilities as an actor to the fullest my favourite kdramas from him include "The good bad mother" and "Youth of May". They're both sooooo good but many people don't know about them😭 Especially "Youth of May" is not known overseas. seriously if someone hasn't seen these two I highly recommend. and they're not that heavy like "the glory"😅💜

I finally finished the reaction videos , I rewatch it with u 😂❤ , and this proved to me that this show is really good because this is my second time watching it and it still hits
It is so heart breaking if you think about it that after all this journey of her revenge, Dong eun is still the same girl 18 yrs ago, standing at that building, suicidal... She and everybody are not happily celebrating their success. But she was ready to end her life, that shows how broken she still is. That's crazy that her trauma because of the bullying never really go away, it is very sad.. And also It's really a great writing, so realistic.
I enjoyed watching The Glory’s reaction. For Korean dramas, it would be a good idea to start with Squid Game 2021, and for Korean movies, Train to Busan 2016.

It’s some kind of podcast, Stephanie talks on there about true crime cases and she did the real life case of the glory the video is called “The Cheongju 2006 Curling Iron Case- The real life story behind K-Drama ‘The Glory’” it’s really really heartbreaking and interesting the way she’s talking about it. She also has other famous cases on her channel like the burning sun scandal, the Seawolves ferry tragedy and the Halloween incident in Itaewon

I highly recommend another great drama of Our Bae, Lee do hyun called The Good bad mother And his drama with Song kang( the main in My demon) Sweet home! Thou Song kang is the Main leads there, called Sweet home! Highly recommended! ;)
If I were very honest with you, I hope Hye-jeong will be able to get her voice back. She wasn’t really as bad as her “friends” as she just wanted to fit in with them and was in love with Jae-jun, and I also feel bad for her because of the way Yeon-jin and most especially Sa-ra treated her. With all the surgeries available at this day and age, Hye-jeong could really have a surgery be performed on her vocal cords and be able to speak again. After this, she can continue to work as a flight attendant, while also changing to become a better person and make amends for her participation in the bullying. Hye-jeong getting her voice back as well as her flight attendant job would also be a very fitting punishment for Sa-ra as I’m sure that she wouldn’t like it if the so-called friend that she actually hated was living her life like Sa-ra never attacked her while her life is slowly deteriorating because of that same attack. On top of that, if Sa-ra ever gets out of prison, I hope she will be poor as fuck and have no choice but to be a janitor at the very same airport where the flights Hye-jeong works on as a flight attendant take off and land as she would see for herself that Hye-jeong is enjoying her life, while she is forced to work at a job that doesn’t pay her well and that forces her to accomplish tasks that she hates (I’m pretty sure Sa-ra wouldn’t enjoy mopping floors and scrubbing airport restrooms for 90 wons a day).

I could recommend a lot of shows to watch & react to, but I'm just going to recommend my #1 drama, which 'The Devil Judge'. It's such a good drama, let alone kdrama and it has Jinyoung from Got7 in it as well as a very beautiful man, Ji Sung.
