Thank you. I just did it for my car. Probably cheaper to buy it from the dealer but there is a great sense of satisfication and bragging rights on doing this myself....
So good to hear from you! Yes those suction cups suck. If everything fits nicely you can just use the sun visors as the clamp that holds the top in place.
I bought the stitcher at jo-annes fabric to stich up a teenwolf costume for spring slush cup at a local ski resort. I think it was $55. I've also used it to fix luggage and my hockey bag. You can probably find something similar to it online. If your window is just as tall as it wide you can buy some suction cups at bed, bath, and beyond to help hold it up. I plan to update this video for trucks and SUV's soon
I live in minneapolis we’ve started off summer with over week in 100f which is uncommon I purchased a Shade and my husband said the metallic facing outside the car?? Yet there’s image so I thought people see that?! Starwars image... Q does the metallic need to face out or inside the car?
Metallic side faces out. If you have a light side and a dark side, lighter color should face out. Dark colors absorb heat, light colors reflect heat. Stay gold.
To reflect sun rays you would want metallic out. However that's not as fun as the star wars image. Your best results to repel heat will be metallic, your best results for a good laugh is probably the image.
It's not metal. It's like bubble wrap with foil on it, soft and squishy inside with a thick foil on the outside. I just buy the stock general 1 size fits all at Autozone then cut it down to size.
Its in at a pretty low volume, I'm sorry you find it distracting. Many find a background track to liven up monotonous content and it helps convey a passing of time in video that has been spead up. I made this as concise as I could but still unhappy with how long it is.
