I actually do this. But I don't do this for the entire kit lol. I do it for each step in the manual. Head, Arms, Legs, Feet, Body, etc. :) It makes it a lot faster and I think it gives you an overall better look.

Although not the most time-efficient, you could before cutting the pieces out of the runners, set up multiple trays or boxes with divided sections numbered in correspondence to the parts and their respective runners. I just came up with that now XD

I have done this with several kits actually and its more like playing with LEGO at that point lol. Its not that hard if you separate the pieces. Like with Master grade I would separate what I think Leg frame parts are from arm frame parts, body, then armor parts in one pile. You also pretty much have to assemble it this way when you paint them lol.

I actually don't have the regular unicorn, I do have the PG Phenex done by Daban (its about $200 cheaper lol). But yeah I have heard nothing really but good things but I can probably say that it is immense lol. Unboxing coming soon of the PG Phenex! I did record one a long while back but didn't like the quality of it. Since I finished my entry for the Playing with Plamo competition a day before the deadline, I needed some time to full clean my hobby room and relax a bit before starting my next gunpla project! :D I will be doing either a live stream over on Twitch of the build or WIP videos. Might do both. Live stream then edit the videos for the channel. :) Thanks for commenting!

The same here. I also preordered the LED set, but am still not convinced it's worth a 100 bucks. I can get a 100 UV SMDs for less than 10$ on Ebay.

Vebri Valentino While waiting for it I could just use the LEDs from ebay. Am sure it wont require any modification on the Unicorn.. But let wait till tomorrow to see whether there are other goodies coming with the LED set that would justify its price.

Well it really depends on where you live. But 90% of the time I go to HLJ.com. hlj.com/top/Gun. The prices are always 20% less than the MSRP. They have a private warehouse feature where you buy anything they sell and put in your "Private Warehouse" where you have 60 days to ship. So you can buy a couple of things over 2 months and then ship them all at the same time. Shipping prices are also quite good and customer service is top notch. I then occasionally buy from Amazon.com or GundamPlanet.com. I also go to my local Barnes and Noble and a hobby store if I feel like being impulsive.

The product in the animated section does appear slightly different to the actual model. It is an animation after all, colors could have been lightened to better show off the kit's features close-up.
