Just got my first ever IELTS result ( L 8.5 , R 7.5 , W 6.5 , S 6.5 ~ Band 7.5) just from learning and watching your videos nonstop for a week before the test ☺️🥹 Thank you ma'am for your teaching 🎉 the best one on RU-vid! easy to understand and cut to the chase 😂
Hello ASIYA. I am from India and have been studying in English Medium since beginning of my schooling(I am 18 now). But again as you know non-native speakers often have their own rules of grammar mixed at times during speaking and I still wanted to make sure I am familiar with the test. I started preparing about 3 and 1/2 weeks before my test and kept solving 1 full paper each day i.e. 1R,W,L,and S test. I took a Computer Based one. Your tips came so handy, especially the free speaking pdf of common topics helped me score better as I kind of messed up the 2nd part of speaking test due to nervousness. I definitely believe I scored 7.5 in Speaking due to doing very well in part1 and 3 of speaking tests. I was good at listening, what bothered me was reading as my score fluctuated between 6 -7.5 and I will not lie it was your videos of reading especially ones about matching right headings and truth and false. Guess what! I got 9 in Reading. I am used to laptop at house and my test was on desktop, I made quite a few spelling mistakes as I was not used to chunky keys of desktop keyboard, I still managed to get a 7 in W. I was required to get total 7.5 with min 7 in each component. I got an 8 overall with L-8.5 R-9 W-7 S-7.5. My heartfelt gratitude for your help.
Hello I am also preparing for ielts i am from gujarati medium since 1st grade I got 7.5 in listening but in reading I struggle to get atleast 6.5 I don't know why can you help me!
I got my results for IELTS general and feeling great after working so hard for this exam for two weeks. I have watched most of your videos and it was of great help for me. I was able to score (L 8.5, R 8, W 7.5, S 7.5), Thanks a lot.
@@malen7773 I was prepared by my own efforts at home, and I also took advantage of the internet to prepare for IELTS. However, in the speaking part, I am clumsy, so I can't talk properly.
I have commented so many times, but I've never got a give away. It's been 6 months, just a speaking test will be the best gift right now. As im really working hard for scoring a good band.
Instead of only praising the channels and teachers ,test takers should share real life experience for the rest to help them calm their anxiety and nervousness.
The introductory part is designed to collect some information about you Work/Studies Hometown Home Family. At first you have to keep your answares short to save more time for questions that require longer time in the exam . The IELTS speaking exam is about how to assess your ability to guess answares according to time management principle. Don't try to be original communicate naturally. Practice and expand your vocabulary . practice answering part 1 questions with a timer .
My examiner interrupted me many times and was not at all smiling . She was quite old😢..She made me nervous , stressed and was talking in a peculiar voice . I have taken exam before and received 7 band score in speaking even though in cue card I totally went blank. I am very much aware of the exam pattern . This time it was not as it is supposed to be. Waiting for result. I am just telling this here to make everyone aware about examiners can be rude so while preparing make sure to learn how to answer in a stressful situations too.
Hi I enjoy watching your videos and I admire your confidence and hard work. But could you please practice the "tr" sound a bit, such as stress, strategy, you said them incorrectly.
Hi! Examiners ask this question to determine whether the follow-up questions should be about work or studies, so I'd mention one of the two in your answer, e.g. say what you did before
what if i am gratuated and looking for a job? should i answer with that or should i say like " i am a student my major ... (my graduated infos)" cause i think they gonna ask about work or school things right? i never have a job so i think i will answer my school things are gonna be easier.
