It's the boosted mega feature from the other two primals. They don't just boost their types, they create the weather. In the main series games, Kyogre's Drizzle ability that creates rain is boosted to a more powerful version called Primordial Sea. So Primal Kyogre boosts all types boosted by Rainy weather in Pokémon Go, water, electric and bug. Likewise, Primal Groudon grs Desolate Land which creates a powerful sunlight so he boosts everything boosted in Sunny weather in game, ground, fire and grass. Mega Rayquaza is similar. It's Air Lock ability changes to aDelta Stream, a powerful windforce that protects flying types from Super effective damage from all their normal weaknesses. In Pokémon Go, they translated it to a boost for all things boosted in windy weather, hence flying, Dragon and Psychic.
Kyogre boosts rainy weather pokemon, groudon boosts sunny weather pokemon and Ray boosts windy weather pokemon. That’s why I guess.. same could be asked of what kyogre has to do with bugs or groudon with grass types 😅
The weather trio - Groudon, Kyogre, Rayquaza - are unique in that Mega Evolution or Primal Reversion not only benefits their types, but also any other type who shares a Weather Boost with their types. Hence not only does Mega Rayquaza (windy weather) benefit Psychic, but Primal Groudon (sunny) benefits Grass and Primal Kyogre (rainy) benefits Bug and Electric, all in addition to their own types.
The last time cosmog was available in research back in early July, I did the free one plus purchased the additional one. From the free one the cosmog I got had meh IVs than the purchased one I ended up getting a Hundo Metang, my first Hundo Metagross that is now a lvl 50 Metagross with meteor mash and earthquake and I also got a (15, 15, 14) Cosmog that I evolved into Solgaleo that I been giving rare candies to as I now have enough rare candies to atleast power it up to 40 but less than 20 xl candies as that is going to be quite the grind as it is treated as a quest mythical and who knows if and when Solgaleo and Lunal become available in raids but regardless in going to do it slowly but surely by giving it any xl candies I earn plus additional candies to convert to xl candies can't wait to max it
Care guys... Niantic recently banned people who uses a route bug, which served unlimited XXL candies. Explains maxed out pokemon like zarude and solgaleos...
Average player: Takes so many months (or even years) and effort to max out a legendary Pokemon. Cheaters: Max out legendaries like crazy. Every single content creator that showcast battles from cheaters: bu.. bu... but XL candies are way too common now, you can do raids or get them in GBL.
i got a hundo rayquaza during go fest. running it with a 4010 cp melmetal, 3969 iv lugia and went 3-0,3-0,4-0,3-0,0-5 lol lead with melmetal. also managed to dragon ascent 3 different pokemon just wanna ask if iron bash is better than rock slide?
Massive respect for that last opponent running Rhyperior. Also can't wait for Solgaleo to come to raids. It looks like it'll be a ML staple that people should look to get a hundo of.
Massive disrespect for running the Charmer though. You know you're thoroughly terrible at PoGo PvP when you resort to a Pokemon that's only use is to overwhelm your opponent with fast move pressure. True Chad's only run Fairy Wind on Fairy types, or Geomancy on Xern.

I just built my rayquaza. But I don’t have solgaleo so I’ve been using heatran. Heatran is a very good alternative but it just does worse against zacian
Took me months to max my solgaleo with every xl I got from raids and walking. I was so proud and now I'm facing him a lot in ML and seeing tons of videos of him. He was no where like two weeks ago. Wtf happened 🤨
I actually got a 14-14-14 Solgaleo off the first research, caught a 4* Ray during GoFest, and caught a 15-14-14 Ho-Oh. Maybe I should build this team…..
Trying to push for legend last minute. Im at 2788. Running rayquaza, metagross, and goldingo. Pushed 400 ELO so far. Love how it counters all these fairy types
Haven't used my meteroite yet. I dont really play ML (i have a pretty decent rayray for it) but i kinda just wanna use it on my shiny because it just looks so cool even though its pretty bad IVs lmao
My friend who didn't play for a 3 month period got a 98% Cosmog and will probably take 5 years to get all the candy, meanwhile I'm stuck with almost base ivs.
I maxed mine, admittedly it's not near 100% (15/10/12), but it took me from September 2022 when it was a wee Cosmog until March or April of this year. I was averaging ~80-km/week between bringing my phone with me running and adventure sync. The grindiest grind I've done since my days playing Wow...but totally worth it; wrecks the Zacian/Dialga core. Beats Dialga in every even-shield scenario and in all scenarios in which Solgaleo has 1 less shield than Dialga.
@@JC-be5cc It was more like ran 30 to 40 miles per week and made sure I had my phone on me everywhere I went when I wasn't so that I got adventure sync. In 2020 I ran 2700-miles and while I'm not in that good of shape anymore, a 50-mile week of just running used to be my peak marathon week.
I debated trying to get Zygarde to level 50 as well...but the 250-cell thing is killing my drive...also I've fallen off pretty far from 80-km weeks at present haha. Maybe during winter I'll give it a go...

It literally would be impossible with the odds. So it’s 100% confirm, this account he “showcased” was a spoofer who abuses the new route XL glitch. Believe it or not, we have had a year to grind rare candy xls for solgaleo. Crying cheats on something like sol makes you look salty af that you don’t have it done. Likely skill issue
