I love your page I married my Nigerian king in 2020 and I feel so self conscious sometimes because his culture is not big on fast meals or takeout and I can cook but the meals I make are really simple and Nigerian food can be very intimidating because it’s so many steps but your videos make it easy… I just made this pasta with chicken and shrimp and it’s a serious WIN WIN

I have had Jollof rice many times before, but was ignorant to the fact that the dish could be made with pasta. Makes perfect sense (NOW)... LOL. This pasta dish showcases all of the delicious flavors of its sister rice dish. I like that different types of meat were used and that they were nicely seared. Julienne cut veggies really mirror the shape of the pasta and is very aesthetically pleasing. Cursory review of your other videos revealed that this dish is no exception. I enjoy your videos, chatty but not overwhelming. I add my protein to the spaghetti/pepper mix first, then the vegetables last. I don't like my carrots too soft - personal preference, anyway. Nice video as always

If you try the veg and peppers and then blend it adds to the flavour or even roast in over takes your sauce over the top...if I have an oil from shito I use that as my jollof base !!
