I wish I had seen this video sooner! I’ve been working on 5 ball cascade for over a year and just recently started to get really comfortable with the pattern. What you said about body posture is one of the biggest lessons I’ve learned so far. If you keep your body upright and elbows to your side, it’s much easier to correct since you’re always throwing from the same position no matter how bad the throws get. I’ve also learned that learning new tricks with 5 (EG half shower or throwing 3 balls higher than the rest) forces me to make small corrections, which ultimately improves my cascade. I can’t wait to apply this knowledge when I eventually learn 5 clubs!
This made me think of when people say that I'm "focusing" on multiple objects at once. I think it's more helpful to say that I'm focusing on one object at a time. I'm just shortening the amount of time that I need to focus on one object before focusing on the next.
As usual, very good insight. Thank you very much. When we start thinking about juggling, it can go very deep. For example, balls are stable when they are in our hands. Then why do we throw them ? Maybe to create some imbalance, and to try and make something beautiful out of something chaotic ? I don't know. But it is fun stuff for sure. To quote JuggleMan "juggling rules". Have a good day Lauri
