Need some rules on how many times you can reposition a ball in hand and how many times you can get down on the ball and jump back up.

there is a match on you tube ,where Jason Shaw played someone ,race to 9 in 9ball and Jason never made 1 ball. Lost 0-9. I dont remember who he was playing,,or what year .But ,it was in a major tournament and I watched it several times back then because I could not believe it was possible.

We have few 9-0 matches where shaw is involves. One vs Earl where he loses real fast… another is vs Mika where he wins real fast

It is nice to find a channel that keeps it simple. There are channels that keep bickering and talking over each other, so much that I have to mute the audio to watch the match.

Rico has steadily gotten better in the past year. I prefer Jeremy Jones for the really big tournaments, to most announcers. But Rico's relaxed style; even when he misses a 'call' it's, 'What do I know'? Nor, does he bellyache about single camera coverage in Bucharest, for a quarter-finals' match between Ko Pin Yi, and David Alcaide, (I think that's 'criminal'.) Ever the gentleman, not a word by Rico Dix. When he stops seeing himself as a 'player', and decides his gift is announcing, he will become a star, and it will be deserved. But, who am I?

Not a perfect match. About 3 mistakes by each player (Alcaide's ones were bigger). Almost perfect match by Ko, no missed pots, just missed one kick, played one kinda bad safety and missed that jump combo (lol).

Let's hear the crying from the Zero attention span kids that couldn't run a single rack to save their life... They're so busy crying they don't learn a thing from some of the best players in the world, and the reasons they are.

It's so hard to imagine playing this good and still losing. Just a little mistake here or there, or not making a good break will cost you the match.

YEPPAR!!! I vote for a shot clock and alternate break on all recorded matches. It's like watching grass grow or paint dry. I put it on 2X speed and it still takes forever.
@Idontpicksides
@Idontpicksides Год назад
No it's not boring, we are seeing them in Thier A game because there is no shotclock
@Woodworking-Pastor
@Woodworking-Pastor Год назад
I disagree. When these players aren’t rushed by a shot clock it gives amateurs a true tutorial on how they should play the game. If it’s boring to watch then you’re not paying close enough attention to the finest details of their strategy. A lot of amateurs really need to pay closer attention to those details and they could see their own game improve. Including the getting up and down on the shot several times to either adjust your aim slightly or to make sure you’re mind is completely settled on your decision.

Well u can fast forward but the momentum and pace is also something u should watch for in these pro high end matches
@desdesdes123

Actually i don't think the play was super slow considering the match time of 1.5 hrs. Each rack took about 4.5 mins. Even with racking included, it probably took less than 6 mins per rack. Think that's reasonable.
@shawnhilgers7522
@shawnhilgers7522 Год назад
If you wanna watch paint dry, watch an amateur event where individual games can take 15-30 minutes a piece. I've seen some long safety games from not great players which would stretch the game out for many shots, and in most amateur events we don't use shot clocks so unless the person is taking consistently 2-5 mins per shot, no one says anything about slow play. And besides, you can't watch anyone run packs if they are alternating breaks

Mike, They have 100 meter dashes all over You Tube. Maybe...that would work for you. Or, maybe you've never played for five-bucks with only six-bucks in your pocket, and beer costs $2.50.
