Out with Frank @hikingwithfrank315 to this cracking wee Munro Ben Wyvis. In the right conditions this is a perfect Munro for anyone wanting to start their Munro journey! Hope you enjoy!!! Paul.
Nice one Paul, that was a lovely walk up and doon, just a pity about the clag & wind on summit plateau. It is a long haul for the one munro, you should’ve came with me for the Sunday hike, it was a belter, not rubbing it in at all mate, but………. Anyway as always a fab walk with you Paul & Paddy. Until the next time. Adios Amigo.👍
Cheers Frank! Thoroughly enjoyed that walk! Pity about the clag at the top but still very enjoyable. Yeah wish I had just stayed too. Those images of the next morning looked amazing 🤩. Look forward to seeing your wee video. Paddy said thanks for the pork pie! Catch you later mate! Paul
Loved that. My first big climb when l was about 10. Been again a couple of times since. I was there last year when l saw snow heading my way from nth/ west. I headed up a bit further and sheltered by that boulder as as a horizontal blizzard caught me and my dog. I headed back down after a hot coffee 😂 Thanks Paul great hike that....Alioban
Great video bud 👏 pity about the clag at summit 🏔 unbelievably mild Movember 😜 feeling your pain with the long drives 🚗 " I'm a lumberjack and I'm ok " 🤣 great stuff 👌 atb Brian 👍
Cheers Brian! I think maybe a few wee camps closer to home in the coming weeks will do! Those long drives in the dark are tiring 😩😩😩.! Need to get singing lessons 😂😂
Nice tache Burt. 😉 Another cracker Paulo. kudos for heading up there overnight for that solitary Munro. 👏 Most folk dae it en route to others. I enjoyed this one as you ken with me and Robins wee night nav effort.
Cheers Kev! I had planned on staying another night but decided against it at the last moment! Turned out Sunday was glorious 🥴🥴🥴. Still a good walk and a wee outlier done! Think I may keep the mo 😁😁
Thanks Andy, no we did go to the summit...If you hear me say at 5:45 that we had another 2 km to walk from An Cabar to the summit. Yeah we did go right to the summit! thanks for watching! Paul.
I think this hill must get a lot of weather being the highest point around. Thoroughly enjoyed it though and like you no views didn't spoil the walk. Would love to see it with a winter coat on though. Thanks for watching and thanks very much for the comments! All the best.....Paul
Nice one Paul it’s a nice viewpoint of the whole northern highlands from the top cracking typical bad weather we tend to get now every autumn no frosty clear mornings sadly but keep walking better weather soon fingers crossed
Cheers Andrew. Even though we had that wind and rain it was extremely mild. Frank had mentioned 17 degrees in Glasgow the night before. I think we just missed the views as we could see the top nearly all the way to the top! A great day out all the same. Cheers and thanks again. Paul
My effort of supporting Movember 😂😂 had some strange looks recently but it’s been good fun! Don’t think it’s a keeper though! 😂😂cheers again Keith! Paul
Hi Paul, A wee bit wild on the top. It's a long 2km when walking oot and back to the summit cairn in these conditions. We also had very similar wind and rain on our last visit and it was bloody freezing. The joy's of Autumn walking 🤣 Cheers, Charlie
And the Sunday turned out to be lovely 😊. Still really enjoyed this Charlie and it’s always good to team up with Frank. Should have just stayed on until the Sunday but hey ho! Fingers crossed for a wee stretch of settled weather as I have some holidays to use! Cheers again. Paul
Excellent entertainment and filming! You should get a double act routine going. The driving sounds a bind but another one in the bag - well done lads! 👍👍
Cracking video Paul😍..Loved the short sharp editing 😁👌🏻..When you look at the mountain from the road coming from North the ridge doesn’t look as wide as it is.Shame you got the clag on the ridge walk..Good banter with yourself and Frank 😍..I do singing lessons by the way 😂. Cheers Robert
Cheers Robert! Tried something different with the editing! A wee bit of fun. This is a great wee walk and even in the clag it was great fun! I might take you up on the singing lessons 🥴🥴 Cheers mate. Paul
