My process for smoke odor removal or any odor for that matter is:
1. Vacuum thoroughly
2. Extract carpets/mats/seats even seat belts with hot water extraction, steam and enzyme solutions like Bonnet Pro Omegazyme or Superior Products Enzyme All Cleaner
3. Clean headliner with steam, degreaser and lots of microfibers.
4. Degrease all plastics (something like Super clean 4:1 or Pink Perfection 4:1)
5. Clean glass
6. Make sure surfaces shampooed are completely dry
7. Open all compartments, extend seat belts and stand mats up tall like a cylinder if cloth (pull out weather tech mats)
8. Turn car on and have air conditioning on hi A/C with air on recirculate
9. Position ozone generator in center of vehicle and crack side window and run cord through window. Leave about a 1" gap
10. Plug in ozone generator and let run for 30-60 minutes
11. Once cycle is complete, unplug unit, open all doors and air out for minimum of 30-45 minutes, possibly longer.
12. Dress all plastics to recondition.
