Our first-born son, Jason, got a phone call from Bronson back in 1988 through Make-A-Wish. Soon his journey here on earth would be complete. The Make-A-Wish Foundation made it possible to contact Bronson so he could talk with Jase. I love and appreciate Bronson taking the time to call and talk with us on the phone about his role in Perfect Strangers. It was such a wonderful give of time and love. Thanks, Bronson. You rock!

I would really like to see an interview exactly like this one but add Melanie Wilson and Rebecca Arthur to it. The 2 lead ladies played a major roll in making this sitcom as epic as it was. Jennifer constantly walking in on these guys in ridiculous situations was priceless.

Definitely was not an underrated show. Was one of the biggest shows of the 80s and early 90s. Reruns of it are not that hard to find. It's still on TV now in the Philadelphia area. Hulu also picked it up a couple years ago.
Mark and Bronson are such brilliant physical comedians. Perfect Strangers was so good, in particular because of their unique chemistry. Fantastic show!
The best part of every interview with Mark and Bronson is they drive the interviewer nuts. I cannot get enough of these two. Just sit them in front of a camera and let em loose! I need more!!! 😂

@Lucas, I watched it as a kid as well. It was my favorite show. Looking back I can't believe a show about 2 men in their 30s was so funny to kids, but it was. Their comedic energy was ageless.

I'm watching this interview for the 3rd time. I couldn't sleep last night so I was watching in bed at 1AM while my husband was sleeping next to me. Bronson Pinchot had me laughing so loud with his dry-heave story, I woke up my husband. My husband had to check to see if I was alright.
I watched them when I was teenager and I am watching them again, I started the 2021 laughing, it is the best way to star an year. They are amazing actors!

It’s great they enjoy their characters and don’t sound bitter about anything. Truly an underrated comedy that was able to bring laughs and some serious topics while making it look effortless. Job well done gentlemen!
just finished watching the whole sitcom few days ago. very funny and entertaining and better than all the things that we watch on tv these days. loved it, loved it, loved it.
These two guys are the first past sitcom stars I have seen that seem to genuinely show love and pride for the show they did. Also, this appreciation and love doesn't seem to only be in retrospect either, as the stories they are telling about the times the show was being produced it comes off that they were aware about appreciating the current moment and having fun. I have always loved Perfect Strangers and felt this "odd couple" physical comedy style of sitcoms has been truly missed; however, after this video I have developed a whole new level of respect for these two.
I still watch Perfect Strangers ALL THE TIME. One of the most underrated sitcoms/tv shows ever. Pinchot and Baker have amazing chemistry. You can tell they are both very talented stage actors from the format. All episodes are available on Hulu in great quality. They are also out on DVD. I have every season, all 6 sets. I just wish they had additional features like bloopers, commentary, tv spots, etc. A lot of that is available on RU-vid though. Thanks for doing this!
I loved their show because it was so relatable. I grew up in Skid Row Downtown Los Angeles CA, with so many immigrants. My parents also immigrated to the US and did not speak the language. With this show I learned so much that I did not know about. This show or something like this (that explains ir teach but not in a boring way) needs to be made for new comments to the US. Culture is so different here.
This is delightful. They look so good! And just as funny as they were on the show. I was madly in love with Balki because he was so full of joy and it always melted my heart. I always wondered what I would feel towards Bronson Pinchot and I am delighted to say my feelings are the same 🤗 He is adorable!

I remember I was very young when this show came out and they were just like family to me. I remember when the show ended I was a teenager and it was so sad. I think I only missed the show twice during the whole time it was on. Just got lucky to be watching the pilot and falling in love with the show. It is hard to say who my favorite character was but if I had to say it would be Larry. His facial expressions were the best. And he was always the one getting them into trouble. But Balki was a very close second. But my brother's favorite was Balki so it worked out. Another strange reason I liked Larry was he reminded me of Willy Wonka for some reason. I am sure it is the hair. But it really makes my day to find out they are still close. Another show besides Perfect Strangers and Who's the Boss that I loved too was Full House. Full House was more my sisters and mom's favorite although we all liked all 3 shows. And other shows as well. But my dad, brother and me loved Perfect Strangers more and sisters liked Full House more. I actually had two favorite shows and a third one later. As I have mentioned Perfect Strangers and Who's the Boss. I mentioned Full House Because I love the episode Larry appears in even though he is not Larry. Later Small Wonder and A.L.f. would join the list of favorites. But I think the two I have mentioned have always been my favorite. Just like Willy Wonka is one of my favorite movies.

How can I give more likes to this? I loved the show growing up. The guys were the "Abbott and Costello" for me. Their chemistry was incredible. Mark has an appearance on Ghosts (which I am looking forward to), and I and I thought to myself, "wouldn't it be awesome if these guys had random appearances, together on shows?". Like the Billy Crystal/Robin Williams scene of friends. After seeing this video, I love you guys even more. Please, Please, Please do something together again. My son is 17, and he loves the show. You guys are completely underrated! And Mark, I totally wanted to approach you while you were working on Ghosts for an autograph, but didn't want to disturb you. I totally fanboyed when I heard you joined the show. I yelled out "OMG Cousin Larry is on the show!" Hopefully, next time. You guys are beautiful together.
I watched Perfect Strangers in the Netherlands back then, my favorite series. So nice seeing them here! And 'Balki' is still charming 😊 It would be great if there would came a remake with them 🤗
15:30 The trunk scene was because Larry was trying to find the thief that stolen his radios. Didn't know the pinching lol. Just finished the series after a year watching it. Good times. This show went off the air when I was about 8. I'm glad I got to see what it was about.

God I really love this show these two had such timing and you don't find that all the time and it shows you know that they like each other and just they were perfect and it still shows today I would be unbelievably grateful and ecstatic if they brought perfect strangers back with the original cast or at least Mark and Bronson they still got that timing they still got that special thing between but the timing and the laughter and Mark was cute with the curly hair but I had a crush on Bronson and I have to admit they both still look really good no even if they didn't bring back the show Perfect Strangers bring back something with those two guys in it I mean The Odd Couple yeah that would be great with these two just any kind of comedy series
I loved and felt hope watching "Perfect Strangers". The story line was what I prayed for when I hoped to see a story that recast Russian or Polish characters as friends or leaders. Love and support is more important than money. We are all strangers in a little world and can grow together. We are friends and warm hearted humans. I love this show it helped end the Cold War.
I still love Mark's adorable laugh and adorable smile.💙 I still remember how adorable he looked in that fireman uniform. 💙 I love Mark and Bronson!! I really wish they would do conventions in Boston. 💙 My heroes.
My favorite 2 shows of the 80's are still my favorite shows. Who's the Boss and Perfect Strangers. I was watching the Black Widow episode where they think Mary- Anne is a serial killer. I love all the episodes but I think this episode would of been better around the time Larry and Balki first met Jennifer and Mary- Anne. After they been through life and death situations together it was hard to buy. The two parters are all my favorites especially the basement leak one. But the camping trip one and the skiing one with the avalanche and the Los Angeles one is my favorite ones. But I am making a list of my top 5 after the two parters. I may not know the name but fans will know. 5) the episode where they are fixing up a house. The end up on the chandelier. 4) the elevator one 3) the piano up the stairs one. As you can see I like the physical ones. It is hard to make only 5. Even hard to make a top 50 Because they never did a show I didn't like. So the last two were hard ones. Actually I might have 2 number ones. And these last 3 are as good as the 2 parters. 2) the episode where Larry wants to take the perfect picture. I believe it is in season 2. And he has to get on his boss' house to do it. Now my 2 number ones are my favorite that are not of the 2 parters. They are as good as the 2 parters and I like them for different reasons. 1) the episode where Larry and Balki try to fix the girl's shower. And the first Christmas one. The first Christmas one really touched home. I was 5 at the time and we didn't have alot of money. My Christmas wish besides my family being together and healthy was to watch Perfect Strangers. I got to be with my family and we were all healthy. We were warm and had food and got to see perfect Strangers. I remember it was a very special Christmas. And what they talked about not being with the rest of their family but had each other it reminded me of how blessed I was. I also liked the Christmas party episode but the first Christmas one I liked more.
I forgot to add in my last comment that my favorite episode was the one where Balki played Fresh Young Balki B. It was a mockery of 2 famed musicians who got exposed for lip singing. Those 2 musicians were known as Milli Vanilli, and Balki was recruited in the episode to perform as a new rap star in a music video, but he had no idea his image wasnt gonna match up with the voice that the record producer gave him.

Still my favorite show. The one that they baked some kind of pastries to sell and they pot all over the place. I was on the floor laughing. like crazy. So funny. We watch the show every week.
"100 episodes before you thought it would run." Balki would say "Where do YOU come up with them." LOL Grew up watching Perfect Strangers. I haven't watched it for maybe 10 years and noticed when they finally released the show on DVD just how much of my personality comes from Cousin Larry neurotic, overthinking, devious at times and Balkie altruistic, knoble, thoughtful, full of love for his fellow man even if people take advantage he wanted to help regardless. Loved every "heart" moment from the show and it will always be one of my favorite shows. I probably think of PS as how Balki would think of Wayne Newton. Sorry to use Wayne's name in vain. Anytime I see you guys together again, It brings a smile to my heart. PS is great just to lift you spirits up even if it's just temporary. I still watch your show at least a few times a year. I saw your clip recently of TGIF bringing you back together and saw you perform the dance of joy one more time in my life and I lost it. Knowing how final that was in the series finale was depressing but I loved it when you did it one more time. If they bring back PS as a remake, I won't watch it if you're not in it out of respect to the original. If the show gets a revival I can already see Cousin Larry say I have...a plan!" Might have to be a couch tomato as Balki would say when he got cable. Say hi to momma for me and have a chalki deiki or bibbi babka. Give Demitri a squeeze and pass cousin Larry some Alka Seltzer.
I wish that at least Melanie and Rebeca were included in this, as well as maybe Sam, Benita, Jo Marie and Ernie. They all did so much to add to the show and never got the recognition they deserved.
We got Perfect strangers in South Africa......it was the funniest sh1t ever , when the show ended we all went into serious depression. The acting was absolutely fantastic and the humour was so classy and refreshing.
