The reason the mug isn’t sublimating correctly is that the handle needs to be positioned against the black rubber knob, in the opposite direction. I've seen other RU-vidrs make the same mistake, and once they adjusted the mug placement, their sublimations turned out perfectly. I hope this helps. By the way, that tumbler looks fantastic! I enjoy your videos-keep up the great work.
I trim the extra paper evenly with the edge of my tumblers also. I don’t have an auto press, but I press my tumblers at 385 for 90 seconds, then turn and press for an extra 30 seconds. I knew your tumbler would be good at that temperature. You’ll get a perfect press every time. I’m so glad I finally figured out what works for me. Please Don’t dip a hot mug into cold or cool water because it could break. Use room temperature water. Next time, after taping, put pressure on the tape on the bottom of the tumbler by pressing it on the table, making sure to press out those ghostly air pockets. I know you’re tired of getting the ghosting spots on your beautiful tumblers. Good Taping is the key. I used to hate taping tumblers before I figured out that I needed to trim away the excess paper at the top and bottom of my tumblers, and to press the air pockets out from between the paper and the tumbler. Now, it doesn’t bother me at all. I use the gold stretchy tape and pull it tightly around the top and bottle of the tumbler, and down the seam with my fingernail or a spoon. 🥄 whatever works best. Lastly, I don’t use my heat resistant gloves because I twist the butcher paper at the end of tumbler, making sure to use a piece of paper that’s long enough to create a handle for me to use to turn and remove the tumbler from my press. Then I place it on the silicone mat in front of a fan to quickly cool it down. Tuck the other end of butcher paper into the open end of the tumbler so that it doesn’t slip out of the butcher paper when you remove it from the press. You should be able to ease your tumbler down into the auto press without dropping it, and safely remove it. I accidentally learned that one. 😂 You have taught me and so many others SO much about crafting. Thank you! 🙏🏽 I hope you will try my tips. Best wishes!!! 23:01
@@katrinasgracefulcreations3711 I use my Htv tumbler press and Cricut mug press. I do 3mugs at once. I haven’t had any issues. I’m still learning From You, Delonda, Patrice. Other crafters. Y’all Are Awesome. Have a Wonderful Day.
Hello Katrina, although I don’t have that tumbler press I do have 2 others and I tried a mug in the tumbler press to see how it would come out but before I did I ordered silicone wraps from Amazon they come 3 to a pack and are 3 different sizes it helps to make the mug tighter in the tumbler press. I used that and the mug came out perfect. The name of the product is SUBLIMATION TUMBLERS WRAP FOR CRICUT MUG PRESS. Purchased from Amazon. I did use it in my Cricut tumbler press but have not tested it out in my other 2 tumbler presses yet. I hope that helps you. The tumbler was 🔥 girl I love me some Betty boop !!!
Love the video. I'm thinking about getting one even though I don't really need it. I'm thinking 🤔. And yes Brooklyn in the house. I'm from Brooklyn too born and raised. Lived just about all parts of Brooklyn. I love me Brooklyn. I want to leave but I can't.
I want to purchase this tumbler press but I watched different videos and the mugs and frosted mugs did not sublimate. Correct settings and all but the mugs on this machine don’t turn out right. I’m sure it will turn out as you continue to use the press great job on the tumbler I love!
The coffee mugs handle has to be up against the black tab on the side of the opening. I did a mug using the sheet that came with the machine sublimated perfectly. I hate youtube, but it doesn't let us post images on our comments
Hey Katrina, hope that everything is well. Love all the contacts that you’re content that you’re doing and stuff like that Katrina when you’ve embroidered on your 3 machines for your 2 head and then one head machine have you done camping bag and if so, what is the biggest amount that you’ve done so far as far as quantity and how much you charge for a candle size curiosity I have 100 canvas bag that I’m doing for the master of the blind and I’m doing the design one in the back at 7 inches in the two pockets 4 inches eat
Another $300 toy? Probably need to put a scrap mug on bottom and your fresh mug stacked on top so the heat clamp closes more evenly (parallel). Otherwise the clamping pressure is uneven.
@katrinasgracefulcreations If I buy this Go2Craft Auto Rotating Tumbler Press, can I use a regular epson printer to printout the sheets to apply to the tumblers. . . or do I need to get a sublimation printer??? Maybe you have already covered this in a prior video???
