London ULEZ (Ultra Low Emissions Zone) compliance, effectively restricts most non-HGV vehicles entering the central London region (and its expanding outward in month or two), to Euro4 (petrol) and Euro6 (diesel), if your vehicle doesn't meet those minimums then you face large daily payments for emissions, over and above the existing daily Congestion charge payment. Hence most regular drivers/commuters will need to switch to "recent" vehicles.
